Accidental Damage Protection: A non-refundable accidental damage protection plan has been included in the price of your reservation. Under this plan, you will not be held responsible to pay for accidental damage or loss to the rental property resulting from you or others in your party up to $2000. This plan does not cover intentional acts of a guest, gross negligence, or willful and wanton conduct, and/or damages caused by pets. This plan is not available for reservations 28 days or longer or reservations that require a security deposit.

This is a smoke-free property. Violation of the no-smoking policy will result in forfeiture of the security deposit, a $300 smoking fee, and liability for any fire or property damage costs.

As part of our commitment to being good neighbors, occupancy limits and quiet hours (9pm-8am) are strictly enforced. No speakers or sound systems will be provided for use in our properties. Violation of any noise ordinances will be subject to fines that can reach up to $10,000 per violation.

There is nothing more important to us at AvantStay than the health, safety, and experience of our guests & staff. We've enhanced our cleaning and sanitation protocols and are taking extra care to disinfect all surfaces between reservations with hospital-grade disinfecting solutions.

As a reminder, we do work with 3rd party vendors to maintain the property, and although we adhere to the strictest CDC guidelines and advise all contractors to wear PPE equipment, we can not always enforce. Beautiful!

An absolutely beautiful home! We all enjoyed ourselves in the pool and hot tub. The kitchen was very well stocked. Loved that all the bedrooms had their own bathroom. A perfect home for a group of people that like to relax. No need to ever leave!

We really enjoyed our weekend. We were confused upon arrival because there was no house number on the premises and there was a different name on the outside rather than Gooseneck. I would suggest you at least add a house number on the building. I also wish we had a yard for the dogs. Otherwise it was wonderful

Family Trip With Parents

We took my parents to see the leaves change. This was a trip for my siblings, their spouses and my parents. The cabin was perfect. Everyone had their own bedroom and bathroom. We loved the amenities and everything the Cabin had to offer. It was very clean and stocked up upon our arrival. We had a wonderful trip and enjoyed the cabin very much!

Copperhead

We had a great experience staying at Copperhead. My wife and I, my 4 adult kids and 2 grandkids all had more than enough space to be private when needed. The house had a few tiny things that we worked with our local Avavntstay reps with and they were immediately addressed. Pool in the basement was awesome for the kids! Thanks!

Loved the Windows. Like being in treehouse!

This house is VERY clean. We walked around barefoot most of the time, our feet were never dirty like other places we’ve stayed. We had 4 couples so the 4 kings and private baths for each room is great. The beds were comfortable, bedroom 2 is getting a little worn but still ok. While the Edison bulbs are cool in the living space, not practical in the bathrooms, very dark without the vent/light on as well, which is a little noisy if you didn’t want to disturb someone sleeping, just putting in contacts or doing makeup is a challenge. Kitchen is very well stocked, everything you need including an ice maker on the counter. The refrigerator ice maker was frozen solid. There were 2 broken rockers on deck, I would think this could have been removed or replaced rather than stay there in that condition, I did make management aware. Pool was very cold, a few used it as a cold plunge, we didn’t pay to heat it. Hot tub was warm but only two seats had all jets working. It also rained on our trip and it would be nice to have some cover above it, while there is a deck overhead, it didn’t stop the rain dripping all over you which made it less enjoyable. Movie room was great, used it a lot. FYI information, the main bathroom downstairs needs a night stand on both sides of bed and shelves in bathroom. No place to put toiletries with pedestal sink. No dresser or closet in bunk room. Would I stay again, YES, but it could use some simple updating. Roads to it not bad at all.

Fantastic home

The home was beautiful and the photos do not do it justice. The kitchen was so well stocked, it even had a crock pot. Tons of glasses and dishes and bedrooms for everyone. I love this place

Summe Family Vacation

Our first three generation Family vacation. There were activities for all. The mountains, the indoor pool, the game room, The Island, family breakfasts, great sleeping and bathroom accomodations. We never stopped and had sooo much fun! Will need to make this an annual occurance!

Pretty cabin just a lot of issue

Communication was great but I did not want maintenance there and housekeeping while we had friends and family there. Very unhappy for the price I paid to stay for the weekend. Front door was so hard to lock when you left. The main half bath the door would not close. The couches were so uncomfortable and dirty looking. The main desk railing was very loose. The grill did not work. The dishwasher flooded. The 2 ice makers in the refrigerator did not work but there was a counter top ice maker. The movie room all remotes were dead. The indoor pool was freezing and you have to pay $100 per night to heat it up. The hot tub has white film slimy stuff all over the top and on the cover. It is a beautiful cabin just not taken care of at all and it seemed they didn’t really care about any issues just said I should have told them while I was there.

Family Christmas Trip

Loved the property. Spacious enough for our large group. Everyone loved the game room, pool, hot tub and theater room. A big plus that all the bedrooms were en-suite. Roads into the property were paved and the house easily accessible. We would definitely stay again. We also liked that the house was not in a group of houses so it was less congested and a little more private.

Family Vacation

We had a great time. The house was just as described. There was a minor issue with the internet on our first night but it was an ATT issue and not a house issue. Our local hosts helped as best they could. It was back up and running the next day. The kids loved the indoor pool. We paid to have it heated, however, it was very cold. Unsure if this would’ve been even colder to not have it heated or if it actually was never heated. The kids still had fun but adults did not get in. We also brought our dogs. If we were bringing our dogs again, we likely would not choose this house. There was not a good place to take them outside. The house is right on the road along a curve. We put our dogs on a leash every time to let them out and there was only a very thin area of grass to take them. Overall the experience was great I would just really consider if paying for the pool being heated is worth it since still very cold and maybe think about another house if bringing pets.

Amazing property & location!

Five stars from our entire group of 14! Kids and adults were all very pleased with the cabin and all it had to offer. Everything was clean and set up perfectly. The house was decorated and stocked with all of the things you could possibly need during your stay. The location was very convenient. The kids were ecstatic to have the pool in the cabin and the game room was a huge plus. Our hosts communicated with us before our stay making sure we knew we could reach out if any concerns. Even contacting us after to make sure we enjoyed our stay. We will definitely be planning a longer stay in the future in hopes to book this same cabin.

Amazing Home

This home was absolutely amazing and less then 30 min to everything. Beautiful views. Extremely clean. We had 4 families totaling 12 adults, one 6 yr old, a one yr old and our dog. Absolutely priceless that every bedroom had its own bathroom. I highly recommend this place for large families. Best place we ever stayed in on all of our vacations traveling.

Great Place - Didn’t like to deal with AvantStay

Having been on the receiving end of ID theft, I came very close to cancel our booking. I was asked to provide proof of my identity and photos of my face in three dimensions. I have been using VRBO for more than 10 years and never had a problem or bad review. I understand that property owners/managers need to have some safeguards against scams, but this is in my opinion excessive. Bottom line: NO company can guarantee safeguarding biographic date they store on their systems. If this is a new policy of VRBO, I will look elsewhere.

Excellent cabin with beautiful views!

At first glance, AMAZING, but...

Ticked all the right boxes when looking for a vacation home with family and friends... indoor pool, jacuzzi, hot tub, game room, theater room, 6 bedrooms, 6 full baths, 2 1/2 baths, grill. The towels and linens were high quality, there was a beautiful welcome basket, the beds were very comfortable and everything looked clean. It was in a neighborhood with other chalets and not really in the mountains like you would think, but it was nice. Long story short....Roaches. there were roaches everywhere. The kitchen was infested. All kinds, small ones, big ones, eggs, shells, brown ones, black ones. They were in the outlets, on the refrigerator, in the freezer and ended up in our food. We had called the management company (AvantStay) customer service line earlier in the trip twice about a different issue, but was given the run around. The steady response was let me have the local team get in contact with you, but never a call back from a local team. The first issue was never resolved. Regarding the roaches, they did send someone out the next day, but there were soo many that any single treatment would not take care of it. Behind the refrigerator were 3 roach bait stations, so it was clearly an issue in which they were already aware. We asked to be moved to a different location and reimbursement, but were given the run around. Let me call my manager and get back to you is what we heard, hour after hour. Eventually, they were able to refund our money, but they were unable to relocate us and it ruined the vacation. It took a call to my credit card company to get some movement from the management company, AvantStay. I do believe that if they shut it down and treat it until the roaches are truly exterminated, it will be a beautiful chalet to take your family and friends, but until the owners/management company take some real, true steps I would definitely not recommend this location to anyone.

Perfect cabin, excellent host, beautiful views!

My wife asked me to plan our trip to Gatlinburg this year and wanted to be surprised. I spent hours looking at pictures, reading reviews, and second guessing myself before finally selecting this cabin. It was a little more than I wanted to spend, and definitely more space than our family needed, but I wanted something for everyone. My wife wanted seclusion and a view without being too far from activities, my kids I knew would want entertainment, and I just wanted a place to relax. This cabin has it all. The kids loved the pool and game room. We had a movie night in the theater room. We grilled steaks one night and used the fully stocked kitchen. I think the only thing we didn't use was the hot tub! The location was perfect. There is a Kroger about 10 minutes away, the Pigeon Forge entertainment is about 10-15 minutes away, and Gatlinburg is about 25-30 minutes away. For our family, wifi is a must and I read several reviews on other cabins that said the wifi was slow or completely unusable. We had zero issues with the wifi here. The cabin was clean and offered more than most I've experienced. We were left a welcome gift that had a couple of coffee mugs, a bottle of wine, some samples of moonshine, a hat, amongst other things, along with a hand written note from our host. Miles was professional and polite and very responsive when I had questions along the way. Check in and check out were easy. If I had to nitpick about anything, we did see there were some dead ladybugs in the bathroom light fixtures, but that's something we experience at home too and it isn't anything for us that would impact our stay or this review. I only mention it here so the host can ask the cleaning crew to look for that as I'm sure others may have stronger feelings about it and it's something they could easily remedy and was probably just overlooked. We have already talked about booking this cabin again in the future and bringing friends along. I'd highly recommend this cabin to anyone!
