Kicking Horse Kabins - LUXURY LOGHOME WITH HOT TUB
Welcome to #1 The Lodge at Kicking Horse Kabins, where we believe you will find the perfect place to stay in Golden.
Perfect for 2-8 guests our lodge is beautifully finished, with the thought of your comfort uppermost in our minds.
Private hot tub, huge garden, fully fitted kitchen (including dishwasher), three bedrooms with a king bed in each room, two bathrooms and a comfortable lounge set around a fireplace and Satellite TV. Comfort and amenities galore.
Our displayed pricing is based on 6 guests however, if you are a smaller group, the following may apply:
- A GROUP OF 4, dependent on date of stay, we have reduced rates for the use of just two rooms. Please enquire for more information.
A GROUP OF 8 - we can accommodate up to 8 guests, with the additional two guests making use of the futon(s) in the main area on the ground floor. Additional guest fee would apply, and we would supply all the linens, towels etc to ensure that all members of your group have a comfortable and enjoyable stay.

PET FEE: We have a base $40 for the pet fee. For multiple dogs (max 2 dogs) or multiple night stays, our pet fees are calculated at $30 per dog per night, before tax. We have a maximum of 2 dogs in residence. Our pet policy does apply and full details are available, but most importantly pets must be kept leashed/under control when in the main garden area, and all deposits are cleaned up promptly and not left to day of departure. Dogs are not permitted on the furniture or beds at any time. The pet fee balance, if applicable can be paid during your stay. Please do let us know if you have any questions on this.
If your party size is over 6, whilst we accept groups of 8 to stay in The Lodge, we do also have a smaller property, #2 The Kabin at Kicking Horse Kabins, and this is a perfect property for 2-4 guests. The Kabin is listed on VRBO and can be found on a search.
Kicking Horse Kabins is an established and registered organization and is a member of Tourism Golden.

Since moving to Canada in 2007 from Britain, we wanted to build the perfect mountain getaway - somewhere we would want to stay in on vacation. We've achieved that - and more! After the hustle and bustle of corporate life in London, mountain living is great! We have not yet found that we want to stop smiling!
We expanded our 'portfolio' in 2018 by adding The Kabin at Kicking Horse Kabins, a 435 sq ft, open plan Kabin finished to a very high standard. This completed our ambition to provide (we hope) everything for our guests to have a perfect time here.

Why they chose this property
First we had to find, the perfect place in the Blaeberry. We then built the 1200 sq ft log lodge, on the land where we live. Our vacation getaway offering is close enough to the house for us to provide a great service, but far enough away for you to have complete privacy from us! We positioned The Lodge and The Kabin so you can see the fantastic mountain scenery from the deck areas, whilst not being overlooked by each other, or us You can sit and relax on the individual decks or in the hot tubs taking in the fabulous views, especially the strong and imposing stance of Goat Mountain, literally at the end of the road!
By adding The Kabin in 2018, we completed our aim to offer guests an option for the perfect mountain escape.
