Best weekend with best friend

My best friend and I rented Forest Edge and it didn’t disappoint. The weather wasn’t the best but it didn’t stop us from hanging on the porch most of the time. Tranquil, relaxing and beautiful. I hope to go back.

Lovely stay

The ladies in the office were easy to work with. The cabin was very clean and had everything we needed. Our young girls loved the hot tub (which worked perfectly) and it’s in a great location close to everything we wanted to see. It was our first visit to the area, and we plan to visit again.

Perfectly Secluded, no issues

Our first night, we arrived right at check in. It was a warm day and the fireplace kept coming on, but my husband figured it out (maybe include some instruction for it in the binder). We stayed 3 nights and used the hot tub every day, never had an issue as we saw others had in a few reviews. Make sure to bring slippers, they clean the floors extra good and socks will have you on the floor. We tried following the trail but couldn’t figure it out, so that was fun on its own lol All-in-all, it was perfect.

Cabin

The cabin was great. We had a fun time watching scary movies and doing our diamond paintings haha. The only thing that sucked was the hot tub wasn’t working and we contacted someone about it and they really didn’t seem to care. Told us that someone could come look at it but no one showed up. Other than that we loved it and would for sure come back.

25th wedding anniversary weekend

Outside was Very unkept looking. Cleaning supplies left in kitchen. All windows were unlocked. Jacuzzi never got up past 90. We Couldn’t even use it the first night. Ceiling fan in bedroom couldn’t be used because it was wobbly and looked like it would fall from the ceiling.

Comfy & Relaxing Stay

This is a well managed & maintained property. The cabin was clean, cozy & comfortable. Everything was exactly as depicted in the listing. Situated at the top of a hill, surrounded by woods, we were able to enjoy privacy and the lovely surroundings. A very enjoyable & relaxing stay!

Awesome Cabin

The cabin was the perfect getaway for us. It was quiet and secluded yet just a few minutes to Walmart and somewhere to eat. We watched movies, completed a puzzle and got to see Cedar Falls in the winter! The cabin was clean and cozy. We would love to come back again!!

Awesome Secluded Cabin!

The cabin is a perfect getaway spot with privacy! We loved the hot tub even in the cold. It was fantastic! Kitchen was well stocked, and everything worked perfectly. The location is ideal, because even though you’re secluded, shopping is only 10 minutes away. Hocking Hills State Park is maybe 25 minutes away. Athens (great college town) is about 35 minutes. Overall, we had a great time and thoroughly enjoyed our entire stay!!!

Honeymoon

Me and my husband had a great time. The cabin is very secluded, quiet, and clean. We were able to enjoy the hot tub, sit by the fire, and reminisce. Much needed time for us and it was an excellent place to get away.

Wonderful Weekend Getaway Cabin

Forest Edge cabin was perfect for my family. The location was convenient to everything yet felt like you were deep in the woods. There is a short trail (about 20-30 minute walk) you can hike right from the cabin which was perfect with my 1 1/2 year old grandson. My daughter and niece really enjoyed the hot tub. I would highly recommend this cabin and would not hesitate to rent it again. Thank you for a memorable weekend!!

So cute!

So cute! Loved the hottub! There was plenty in the kitchen to work with, we were not missing anything! I would say the overall only con is the living/ family room air conditioner. It was working but no matter what you put it on it was so hot in there! Other than that though everything was wonderful!

Very quiet and enjoyable. No central heat but space heaters and fireplaces kept it cozy. We enjoyed the hot tub. Weather didn’t cooperate so we will have to make a return visit to hike the state park.

Nice Cozy Clean

This property was very cozy. The only complaint that I have is the hot tub could have been cleaner. There was a ring around the hot tub.

Quiet and Relaxing!!

We really enjoyed our stay at the Edge of the Forest cabin. It was clean, comfortable and felt at home from the time we walked in. The *only* issue I wish I would have known about prior to arriving was that the paths for the trails around the cabins were not really able to be hiked through/on. We love to hike, but were kinda disappointed when we could not walk to far on the paths outlined in the welcome book. I still would not pass up an opportunity to book here again if we are ever able to again!! Thanks for a great weekend!!
