Ocean Front, Spacious Log Cabin with Beautiful Ocean Views!

Unique and attractive log cabin! Perfect for large groups!.

This is the perfect beach house for a larger family or several couples. Once you stay here, you will always remember the uniqueness and charm of this historical cabin.

This pet friendly cabin has Wifi, washer/dryer, ceiling fans throughout the cabin

The heart of the house is the large, comfortable living area with such character. You will enjoy the open feel of the room with plenty of seating to accomodate a large group. The comfortable sofas offer the perfect spot for conversations or watching your favorite movie on the large flat screen TV. Plus, enjoy the stunning views of the beach!

The kitchen is large and spacious. It is well stocked with everything you need for your meals at home. There is a large dining table with seating for eight. Plus, there is another table in the living area that seats four.

Also on the first floor are three bedrooms and two bathrooms. The ocean view room has a king bed and wall mounted flat screen TV. There is an adjacent bathroom with double size glass fronted shower, vanity and large mirror. The second bedroom has windows on two sides with two twin beds, TV and it's own small bathroom with vanity and shower. On the other side of the living room is the third, smallest bedroom, with a Queen bed, high ceiling, windows on two sides, and a desk overlooking the beautiful ocean!

The second floor boasts two bedrooms. The master suite has a King bed and newly remodeled en suite bathroom, complete with Jacuzzi tub and separate glass shower. French doors open onto a beautiful, balcony overlooking the ocean! The second bedroom has a King bed and high ceilings. French doors lead out to the ocean front balcony. There is also the fourth bathroom with tub/shower combination.

You can fall asleep to the sound of the waves on the sand below your window. There are ceiling fans in all the rooms, and the house also has central heat and air with individual climate controls on each floor.

Stepping outside there is a great 50 foot wide beach level patio/deck, partly covered which can be secured for small dogs/young children. There is a gas BBQ, dining table and lots of additional seating. It's a great place to escape from the summer sun, and enjoy the breezes.

You will love the ambience and coziness that this unique cabin offers, along with the space and comfort for a group of up to 10 people.

We leave our books, gas BBQ, beach chairs and loungers, and even some boogie boards and kids toys - it's all there for your enjoyment. We are really proud of our family vacation home and look forward to welcoming you and your family. We hope you will love it as much as we do, and become repeat renters at our cabin!

We had a lovely trip to Fernandina in this really interesting and beautiful house right on the beach! Lots of amenities and the perfect location. Highly recommend to stay here!

Out week at the historic, rustic, and charming Log Manor was wonderful! Upgrades are needed in the kitchen and bathrooms, but we were quite comfortable, and the easy access to the beach was a definite plus.

Family Vacation

Amazing Location!! - Right on the beach which was perfect for your crew which included little ones so access to the house while spending the day on the beach was heaven. The kitchen and living area were vary spacious and there was plenty of room for all. Overall, the whole place (house, decks, back patio & path to the beach) could definitely use some TLC, and the ants kind of put a damper on things. But over all we had a fantastic vacation. Thank you!

Quaint, old log cabin on the beach

This beach house was great!! Plenty of room....4 bathrooms!!! A nice short walk from the back porch through the dunes and you are on the beach! Highly recommend this rental!!

Girls trip!

We loved this property because we all had our own space and the shared living areas were large enough to accommodate our group of 10. It was right on the beach so we were able to go out for sunrise, all day, sunset and still run back to the house for drinks, food or to cool off. Great home!

Great beach house

This cabin is very unique for a beach house. I mean, you don’t typically see log cabins on the beach. It sits right on the beach with lots of outdoor seating and decks. It is very roomy and comfortable. The kitchen is large and well stocked. We were eight old friends celebrating a big birthday. It perfectly met our needs.

Great family gathering place

Had a relaxing stay with family of 8, all adults. Plenty of space for everyone to relax, spread out, and be alone or with others. Nicely quiet while still on a main road. Wonderful personal access to the beach and ocean. Cozy northwoods cabin feel to the house. Short beach walk to a few restaurants with live music. Short drive to most all other activities and downtown.

Great location but needs TLC

The iconic location was absolutely beautiful but the home is in need of some TLC. The interior is in rough shape -- a lot of shoddily done repairs and home feels cluttered. Tough to get into the primary bedroom because furniture is too big for the space.A lot of the touches you would expect in this price range were lacking -- one nearly empty hand soap, near-zero water pressure in kitchen sink, couldn't find any beach towels, only a few washcloths for the whole house, a lot of debris/trash around outside the house, poorly repaired and not re-touched holes in walls, tiles, and even shower floor. Not one to nit-pick, just pointing out what added up to it feeling a bit like a frat house.The property management group was easy to work with and responsive -- just was disappointed the home overall felt grimy and unkempt.

Location could not have been any better!!

This log cabin on the beach was cozy and clean. It has a spacious kitchen and den with plenty of room for all. The main porch is a great place to gather for morning coffee or afternoon cocktails. The only thing I would improve is the patio furnishings. The salt air seems to have taken a toll on them. Overall we would absolutely stay there again!

Great, quiet location

The beach was quiet and perfect! We biked into the quaint town but it’s far enough away from the public beach that it feels like your own private beach. The house was spacious and clean. Kitchen was stocked with everything we needed! Bring your own beach gear tho. The house said they had chairs and umbrellas but they were very old and not the best condition.

Wonderful Retreat for a Family Vacation

Thank you for sharing your comfortable, welcoming home. Our family had a relaxing and enjoyable vacation because of you. We truly appreciated the extras: boogie boards and sand buckets, shovels, and beach chairs. Also, we enjoyed your selection of CD's. The beach is beautiful and just a 50 yard walk away. Your kitchen was well-equipped, conducive to large groups, and away from the sleeping areas. We also appreciated the grill and back porch seating. The house is great.

Great family reunion

We had an amazing week at the cabin. The location is perfect and we had the beach mostly to ourselves. The kitchen is probably the best feature of the house as we all love to cook and everyone was able to be right there keeping the cook company. We enjoyed evenings on the upper deck. Such a nice breeze. The outside of property needs some tender loving care in as far as the landscaping. That is about as negative as I can get. Would recommend to anyone.

A perfect stay for Ga/Fla weekend.

We really did not know what to expect, other than the "Log Cabin" got excellent reviews. There were 9 of us in all and with the five bedrooms and 4 baths it was great. Very roomy, large kitchen (we could all sit at the same table for our meals). Right on the beach which we loved for sure. If I had one complaint (and it would be a very small complaint) is that the Direct TV did not have the sports channels like ESPN, SEC, etc... I must mention Rhona, the Property Manager, as she was so helpful and accomodating. If I owned a property at Amelia, she would be my choice to manage it. Thanks, Rhona.

Needs a lot of tLC.

The home several repairs needed. The twin bedroom shower was not useable. It continually dripped the whole time and the shower head was rusty, ripped shower curtain . Kitchen had 2 outlets that did not work, an outside switch that did not work Kitchen sink needed plumbing repairs was clogged and when used needed hot water to be poured into it Ants and bugs in house. It did not stand up to its visual appearance on line. Needs lots of work including floor.

Amelia Island has great restaurants and shopping - wonderful golf courses and miles of unspoiled beaches - what more could you want?

What makes this property unique

Enjoy sunrises right from the deck overlooking the ocean - walk the deserted beach and marvel at the dolphins playing in the surf, and the long lines of pelicans flying overhead. Search for those hard-to-find shark's teeth - and then in the evening return to the deck and watch the sky turn pink and making the ocean also appear pink, as the sun slowly sets - another magical day has ended on our little corner of Paradise.
