Excellent Customer Service!

My family loved our stay here. We had a minor issue with the water, but the owner himself came to resolve it. Communication was excellent throughout the entire process. I highly recommend this property.

Great in every way!

Stayed here with 16 adults and it was a fabulous weekend. The home was clean and offered everything they said it did—lots of seating, great gathering spots, all the games, the hot tub—we used and enjoyed it all! We loved “the peaceful side” (especially after driving through the craziness of Pigeon Forge to get here!). Found all we needed within a few minutes’ drive. And loved the scenic, easy entrance to the park. Tara was super responsive and flexible. Even got a visit by a bear and her cubs to wrap up our last night!

Great quality time!

We enjoyed our stay, the house is very specious and has enough table sitting for our entire family. The only downside is the phone/internet signal. The house does provide wifi, but it’s very spotty. For folks who work from home and are planning to bring the work load with you, beware that it will be frustrating. On the other hand it will make you socialize among yourself. the house does provide lots of games. Overall it was very enjoyable.

Summer Vaca 202

We had a great time. Plenty to do in basement on the days it rained. The best house ever for the amount of towels, silverware and toilet tissue. Owners were always available via text. If we return to he area, we would rent there again.

Very Merry Holiday Trip!

We own Jolly Ollie's in Hendersonville TN and were looking for a fun get-away to do some team building after the New Year. This cabin was available and PERFECT for our needs! Very nice layout, rooms were SPACIOUS and comfortable, and the outdoor hot tub and fire pit were nice gathering areas. We LOVED the big room that you enter from the parking lot, its HUGE and has big bean bags to chill on and a super huge couch, probably biggest wrap around couch I've ever seen! Kitchen was nice, and area was nice as well. Just a tip to anyone planning on staying, because the pictures show a stock pile of wood logs, we didn't bring any because we thought it came stocked full. It was empty, not a big deal, but just be aware you'll need to bring some with you or purchase at the local stores. Overall I give this place a 5 STAR and want to THANK THE HOST for being so accommodating and providing our group with a fun and safe place to take a needed break!

Great location for a big group

We had a great time, enjoyed the giant living space, and took full advantage of the large secluded property and outdoor spaces! We had an issue that we caused, and Tara and her husband worked with us to quickly and reasonably resolve it. Absolutely recommend renting from them!

Not quite what they previewed on the listing

The house is in a great location and does sleep multiple families however there were many things that were supposed to be available at the home that were not. The cleanliness is a big deal for me and there was a very thick layer of dust on the upstairs master’s bathroom vent and door. It seemed as it had not been cleaned in months. The tubs and showers paint was peeling off the walls. Tubs and showers looked as if they had not been cleaned in a while. There were molded Sippy cups and crayons under couches and beds , yet we did not have any children with us. There were pretty large spiderwebs in the sunken den’s main windows with spiders and dirt. There is no bathroom in the lowest level of the house, so if you were sleeping downstairs you’d have to come up to the main floor which is the only bathroom for that floor and is a jack and Jill. There was animal poop(I’m assuming dog) in the front and back yard along with used shoot gun shells and broker chairs and a dirty grill and fire pit. The gates to the back yard were barely functional. The front porch’s posts were falling off or unstable. However there is a pool table but the sticks to play are destroyed. there is an air hockey table but no puck, instead there’s a large checker piece that doesn’t work for the table. The hose is supposed to sleep a large amount of people yet the host only leaves the guests one paper towel roll for the kitchen, three trash bags for the kitchen, and one toilet paper roll per bathroom, the rest is let to the guest to provide for themselves. Another con is that there’s a high cleaning fee yet the house is not cleaned properly and you have to do the majority of the cleaning before you leave per the long list of house rules in the rental. On the listing they said they provide Wi-Fi, this is true to a point. We got to the house and couldn’t make any calls or text due to no signal which should be advised since many people in our group work from home and were unable to. They actually had to leave the house and go in to town to a coffee shop and work from there for a few hours. The Wi-Fi barely functions and they said they had to buy more data yet the service never improved. If the Wi-Fi didn’t work nor did the tvs. It’s a great way to disconnect for social media and reconnect with everyone around you. The house truly needs some TLC and a good deep cleaning. Not quite worth the money honestly. I’m sorry for the bad review but people need to know what they are getting into.

Outstanding Property for Large Groups

We stayed at the property from July 12th - 20th and could not have been happier with Majestic Mountain Manor! 26 of my family covering 4 generations and ranging in age from 1 to 81 stayed here to celebrate my parents 60th wedding anniversary We loved the location...secluded enough to enjoy the privacy offered while close enough to enjoy all of the activities that Eastern Tennessee has to offer. Extremely functional layout of the house and one of the best stocked kitchens we've encountered for a family that enjoys cooking while traveling. Communication with Tara and Eric was fabulous! As a few others have stated, a bathroom on the lower level would have been nice, but overall we were extremely pleased with everything and would recommend this property to anybody.

Couldn't have been better!

I cannot say enough about this beautiful home and the attentiveness of the home owner, Tara. We booked the property to celebrate a family milestone and are STILL reminiscing about the experience. We also had some unexpected visitors - three beautiful bears who graced us with their presence during our stay. We enjoyed our stay so much I can assure you we will return. One thing to note: No bathroom in the basement made these accommodations less usable. But with good planning, you can ensure all guests have access as needed. Thank you, Tara. You are the best!!

Great place to stay.

We had a group of 9 and had plenty of room. The kitchen is well stocked and the screen room was nice as well. The only downside is there is only 1 bathroom on the main floor and no bathrooms in the basement. It was not a major problem but was an inconvenience at times. The property owner and manager were great to deal with and also allowed an early check-in and late check out. We had a great time.

Great mountain family getaway.

Enjoyed a fun time away with our extended family. The rooms were perfect for our group of 17, including several littles. The location was beautiful: we hunted salamanders, enjoyed the hot tub and s’mores at night around the fire pit. Short drive to Pigeon Forge, Gatlinburg and the national park! Cell service was nil but we loved being a bit disconnected and WiFi was available for when we needed it. Thank you Tara and your team for this lovely place to get away to.

3/5 but here’s why….

We had a large group- All former Security Contractors, former military, and current law enforcement. House was as pictured, however, communication with female home owner was less than stellar. A letter received upon checkin asks that you do a walkthrough of property and note anything out of place- we did, as we didn’t want to get charged for something we didn’t cause. Nothing major (fan/light in master didn’t work, shotgun shells in yard, broken beanbag board, etc.), but was enough for owner to take personal and cuss us out on day one, demanding we get the f**k out of her home, among many other choice words. Eric was great and did his very best to make things right. If you only have communication with Eric, your trip will be incredible! Working in hospitality is not for the faint of heart- perhaps this could be a great learning opportunity for the female homeowner. Things we liked: laundry room on second floor, plenty of towels for pool and showers, everything seemed clean. Home was close enough to town that it didn’t feel inconvenient. Front porch with rocking chairs was perfect for coffee in the morning and hot tub was nice for our crew.

Great Trip Will Stay Again

We had a family get together and really enjoyed the fire pit. House was very clean and looked the way it did in pictures. The kitchen was very well stocked. The kids and adults really enjoyed the game room. I had great communication with the property manager. I would highly recommend this property.
