We arrived at 3 and were told to come back at 4. At 4 we waited an hour and owner stopped communicating. We had to ring Vrbo to get access finally at 5.When inside there was no washing machine and double bed as per advert. The owner and agent did not care. We had no bedding to fit two singles and the agent refused to provide a duvet so we could make-do. The owner advised it was a double, but then changed his mind. The agent told us to use launderette. The owner harassed us every day, the agent text us at 22:30 one night about paying an extra deposit outside of Vrbo. Under the circumstances we refused.We had to email Vrbo and ask them to get the owner to stop harassing us. The owner made no attempt to apologise. The day before we left I emailed the owner and advised under the circumstances there should be some compensation. I advised we had respected the apartment so there was no damage, but he should cover the cleaning at 70. He then suggested he would pay 100 which I accepted. On move out day, the owner refused to pay the 30 difference and the agent tried to force entry. The agent was very aggressive, after 45 minutes the agent paid the 30 and we left.We were treated appallingly, the owner showed no remorse for failing to let us in, and false advertising, to him it was normal behaviour. All he wanted was a deposit outside Vrbo which I declined aa I did not trust I would get it back due to his behaviour. I have reported his actions to Vrbo.
