This house is such a perfect getaway! Taryn was amazing with communication, the house had everything we needed, and there was so much space. Highly recommend and I definitely will book again!
Loved this place. Great for our group. Fire pit on the deck, tons of space, quiet neighborhood. Everything we needed was at our fingertips. Great option.
The property was perfect for us.
The location is just down the road from the Whiteface Club and Resort where our daughters wedding was being held.
The attention to Adirondack detail was incredible- it was very well thought out and each bedroom had its own private bath-
The basement walk in apartment was perfect for a second family or in our case my other daughter and her boyfriend with room to spare.
We held our hair and make up session for the bridal party comfortably in the upstairs main area.
The kitchen was well stocked with stemware, dishes and whatever you would need to cook a fabulous meal.
( minus the groceries of course)
Hannaford is just minutes away.
The bride had pictures taken in the wooded back yard among lush fern. We also had my husbands first look photographed there. I can not wait to see pictures!
We really were very comfortable there.
Thank you for making our stay worry free and so easy.
This beautifully decorated home was the perfect layout for our family reunion. The downstairs was an apartment unto itself and can provide added privacy if two families are traveling together. There are two bedrooms upstairs that are perfect for couples, plus a bonus bedroom with a trundle bed and crib that is great for kids. We enjoyed sitting out on the cozy deck in the evenings and drinking coffee in the sunroom in the mornings. The location was also very close to downtown, yet there is a convenient way to bypass downtown in order to avoid traffic when needed. During our stay, we enjoyed hiking, seeing the ski jump, and spending a day at Au Sable Chasm. Altogether a wonderful week in gorgeous surroundings!
We had a great stay and will keep it on a short list for future options in Lake Placid! Quiet, clean and close to competition venues without being in the bustle of Main Street. Will be back!
I highly recommend this house. We had an amazing experience, everything exceeded our expectations. The owner is super helpful. By far the best one yet.
