Very unique house with all amenities. We had a few issues, but were easily fixed with very responsive property manager. We had a great time and would visit this property again. One note, every floor needs stairs to access. We had my mother-in-law who did ok, but is just good to know for anyone who has mobility issues.
Our family enjoyed Christmas in this lovely home. Our host was gracious and made sure our stay was an exceptional experience. We enjoyed the mountain views, comfortable rooms, spacious kitchen and a glassed-in atrium with a hot tub. Thanks for making our holiday so special!
The home is so unusual in a beautiful way! The roof-to-ground-level windows of this three-story home are incredible! It's peaceful, beds were comfortable, amazing views, host is great! I'd say for older people with slight mobility issues the 3 story aspect is definitely a challenge with no bedroom on the upper level where you walk in. We totally enjoyed the solarium on ground level for reading the day away and the hot tub at the end of the day. Fun grounds for children to explore and play. Great stay.
I recently had the pleasure of staying at Mike's vacation rental in Yakima, Washington, and I must say, the experience was nothing short of fantastic. From the moment we arrived, it was clear that Mike is not just a host, but a master of hospitality.
Location and Property:
The property itself is a gem. Nestled on 1.5 acres of beautifully maintained land, it offers a serene escape that's perfect for anyone looking to enjoy the best of Yakima - whether you're here for the wine, golf, or simply the delightful weather. The house provides stunning views from almost every angle, making it a perfect spot to relax and unwind.
Accommodations:
The luxury and comfort of the retreat are unparalleled. Every detail has been thoughtfully considered to ensure guests feel at home. The interior is spacious, elegantly decorated, and equipped with all modern amenities one could need for a comfortable stay.
Host:
Mike deserves special mention for being an incredible host. His attentiveness to our needs, combined with his local knowledge, made our visit even more enjoyable. He was always available for any questions or assistance, yet gave us the perfect amount of space to enjoy our privacy.
Experience:
Whether we were lounging in the lush garden, exploring the nearby wineries, or just enjoying the tranquility of the surroundings, the stay was marked by moments of pure relaxation and joy. The house's design allows for both communal living and private retreats, which was perfect for our group.
This is great house for friends, families, or couples with amazing views and lots of balconies everywhere to spend time outside. Check in was super easy and the AC was already turned on before we arrived on a 100F day to keep it cool. The kitchen was very well stocked, and we enjoyed using the grill for barbeque. The beds were clean and comfortable. The living room had lots of games and a 70" TV with great sound for watching movies. It was only 5 mins from Fred Meyer for convenient grocery shopping. We enjoyed walking around the house and exploring the neighborhood. All in all - great house and we'd love to stay here again in future!
The one appliance you see everywhere but here, a toaster! With a three year old who loves English muffins, it took forever in the oven. The grounds are lovely but in need of a refurbishing. Wood steps are rotting and the three water features were not on or not working. All in all we loved our stay. Oh the televisions in the bedrooms did not work, says not connected? We checked, they were.
The location was ideal for our visit. We enjoyed the house and the beautiful landscaping. We had 7 adults and several cars and the house and outdoor spaces worked perfect for all of us. Our Host was very quick to communicate with us and accommodating.
Really enjoyed our stay! House was perfect for multiple couples and a five year old! Kitchen with all utensils that you might need. Nice decor updated and beautiful views! Excellent neighborhood, nice grounds.
We chose this property as a spot to stay during the WIAA state basketball tournament. The property fit the needs of our group which included 5 adults, one teenager and a 7 y/o golden retriever. The home was clean & kitchen was well equipped. We really enjoyed the view, the architecture & the hot tub. The home was a short 13 minute drive to the SunDome. I would highly recommend this home if you are looking for accommodations in the Yakima area.
This tri-level house was stunning! The main floor was open and very comfortable. The interior was very tastefully decorated and the house was full of high end finishes. The view through the windows was stunning and there were two seats facing out looking at the view which were perfect for a morning coffee. The hot tub was very relaxing at night keeping us sheltered from the elements while still offering amazing views of down below. The back yard is huge and was fun to explore even when covered in snow, I imagine it’s even more amazing in the spring and summer months. I highly recommend staying here whether you’re looking for a comfortable getaway for the family or a romantic escape with your significant other.
Mike was professional and thorough in our communications. Because we had a large crowd and a brunch planned, we were surprised and saddened that the only coffee pot was a Keurig (single cup at a time maker). But before we could make arrangements, Mike had a coffee pot, coffee, and filters delivered to the house. Overall, we had a great experience with the property.
Top to bottom this was the best renting experience I've ever had. The host Mike is an absolute pro. In every interaction, he communicated clearly, kindly, and confidently. The house itself was incredible. From the linens, all the way down to the toilet paper it felt like no corners were cut. The kitchen was perfectly outfitted with anything we would need. Every room was cozy and the beds were perfectly comfortable. Not to mention the property itself was beautiful. I would rent here again without hesitation. Thanks for an amazing time!
We stayed here for a wedding weekend and this home is nothing short of absolutely spectacular!!! The grounds are beautiful, the location was so close to everything, the interior was so well designed and decorated you felt like you were living in a magazine in the best of ways. The owners were very responsive and the home was well stocked with everything you could possibly need. I have stayed in a lot of VRBOs across the country and I think hands down, this is my most favorite. Don't hesitate, just book it!!
We chased the sun to Yakima for Mothers day weekend, and this home did not disappoint. We have 2 young girls under 3yrs old, and the accommodations for kids was lovely (monitor, high chair, baby gate and pack n play). The views were spectacular from the main level, and the hot tub in the sunroom was a big hit for us. We didn’t get to explore thee yard much, but it looked amazing. Lovely kitchen and all around a comfortable and relaxing home. We will certainly return with more family for a long weekend!
This house was everything and more! We were able to host a bridal shower there and the party was a success. Great kitchen and living room to host. Everyone was so impressed with the beauty of the house. The hot tub was a perfect addition too. Thank you for helping us feel like we escaped Yakima, but we’re still so close to everything.
Our group stayed at this property as we were in town for a sports tournament. The home was clean and ready for us upon arrival. Communication with the property owner was easy and very responsive. This home is located in a beautiful, safe, neighborhood and has outstanding views. Loved the fenced yard for our dogs to be able to get some exercise outside. We originally had 8 people planned but only ended up having 5 one night and 4 the second night. Still, we enjoyed the home and the beautiful windows everywhere, overlooking the large property and Yakima valley. We didn’t use the kitchen for making meals, however, it seemed to have everything needed and was clean, bright and beautiful. Each of the rooms was nicely decorated and comfortable. Be mindful, there are a lot of stairs if that is an issue for your group, it was perfectly acceptable for ours. We loved the openness and view from the atrium as well as we used the hot tub which was very toasty! We also appreciated the seating in the atrium for those that still wanted to chat with the group but not be in the hot tub. The property was very easy to find and located not far off of 40th (a main road) to get to anywhere we needed to go. We recommend eating at the Powerhouse Restaurant (a diner), right off of 40th across from Fred Meyers. They seated us quickly, were busy but helpful, and the food was good. Make sure to try some of their cheesecake or cakes (carrot cake was amazing!), delicious!!! The property was as beautiful as described and the view even better, we really enjoyed our stay here and look forward to staying again in the future.
This is a beautiful, clean, exquisite property. The owner Mike was very accommodating and an excellent communicator. We really enjoyed all the luxury finishes of this home.
The kitchen is a chef's dream and was wonderful for preparing food; all the appliances are top notch and it was well stocked with all the kitchen tools that one needs. The finishes in the bathrooms are beautiful. It has a rain shower in the master bath! The living room is beautiful and has lots of comfortable places to sit and lounge. The atrium is a cool place to and has a hot tub and we were pleased to find out that the hot tub water was hot! The views and the neighborhood are pretty and very conveniently located; it's a short drive to the Cowiche Canyon trail. It's also just a pretty neighborhood in which to walk.
We would highly recommend this home and VRBO owner. We would love to return some day for our bi-annual friends reunion. Thank you Mike, and also thank you to your housecleaning crew because the entire house was spotless. Thank you!
I would highly recommend this home as a very comfortable and luxurious stay.
My family and I had a wonderful Christmas here! The location is beautiful and the house is extremely modern and luxurious. Our kids loved both the Super Nintendo emulator system as well as the huge array of classical real/world games (twister, board games, ect.). Whether lounging on the main floor, looking out over the valley or relaxing in the solarium hot tub, there's no shortage of peace and rest to be had. Would happily return and will definitely recommend to friends/family.
We got this cabin for a 4 days Friendsgiving trip spending thanksgiving and exploring Yakima together. Everyone couldn’t be happier with the property - it’s very clean, well equipped with a lot of cooking utensils and bakeware for preparing a big thanksgiving dinner, full of lovely touches including a lot of towels around hot tub and poop bags for dog, and it’s really well located as it’s really close to grocery stores and hiking trails. We really enjoyed our time - especially chilling around the atrium with the hot tub. Mike and Tiffany have been very communicative to make sure our stay is great. We cannot recommend this place enough

About the host
Hosted by Mike
We're Tiffany and Mike! We purchased this amazingly unique property with the vision of creating a premium experience for everyone enjoying everything the Yakima Valley has to offer. Mike was raised in Yakima and after leaving for college knew that he'd eventually have some involvement in Yakima again. Tiffany is native of the PNW and fell in love with Yakima after visiting with Mike.
Why they chose this property
From the moment we saw the listing we fell in love and had compulsion to show others the beauty that an established Yakima home can have. This home is unlike any we've seen! It's too amazing to keep to ourselves and we felt the need to open it up to others.
What makes this property unique
There is a view from almost every point in this home. Whether you are exploring the 1.5+ acres of landscaping, enjoying a cup of coffee from the balcony or sipping a cocktail while enjoying a soak in the hot tub you can't help but be amazed by the architecture and the views.
