We enjoyed our stay. One thing I would note on the advertisement is that there is 1+ story of steep steps to climb (for older folks to note in case they have issues with steps).
The location was near everything you could want, bakery, restaurants, quilt shop (lol). The entrance is in an alley but it is really more or a small street so nothing to be concerned about. If I ever go back to Ironwood I would surely stay there again.
Second time we have stayed at the White Rabbit. Love the location, centrally located for hiking, waterfalls, kayaking. Host always responded quickly to any of our questions. Apartment has been very clean and well maintained for both of our stays. highly recommend this place
My husband and I stayed while we were snowboarding. We loved the place!! It felt like home to us while we were there and Angela and her husband were super sweet!!
Would stay there again!
Place was clean and hosts were welcoming. Within walking distance to good places to eat and drink. Short drive to ski resorts made this place a great weekend getaway.
Convenient location in Ironwood. Not far from ABR where we did a 3 day cross country ski trip covering over 30 miles. Happy to have a kitchen to properly fuel ourselves for skiing. Will keep this place in mind for future visits. Thanks Angela!

Great location! Everything walking distance. Comfortable space.
Loved this gem of an apartment right in downtown ironwood. The owners are quick to respond and are amazing people! They co-own the White Rabbit tea and wine bar under the apartment. 10% off as a guest discount there as well! That place was a real gem as well and they make you feel like a friend/family as they are so welcoming and kind! The tea’s are amazing, as is the wine and small plates. They also have cocktails. The apartment is within walking distance to shops, cold iron brewery (highly recommend), restaurants and walking trails. Easy drive to the grocery.
I rented this place just for myself for essentially a base camp to do day excursions to hike and see the hundreds (if not thousand) waterfalls the U.P. has to offer. The porcupine mountains are within an hr to get to and some making hiking trails!!!!
Dates rented 9/4 - 9/11. I had perfect weather and trail conditions 90% for the time! It rained one day, so I used that as my “rest day” and walked around town to check out a few of the shops, then read a book at the brewery.
Downtown Ironwood is small and quaint and very easily managed. The apt does have a staircase to walk up/down, as the apt is on the second floor. You have your own parking spot in the back. Easy check-in/check-out process. Washer/dryer in-unit which was super handy with the amount of hikes and length of stay! Full kitchen, which I loved and took advantage of! They have a hot water electric kettle as well as a coffee pot. The bed was comfortable, as was the couch.
Just make sure you plan ahead (which I did) if you go over a National holiday(Labor Day), as it is a small town and things may not be open.
Overall I would stay here again in a heartbeat and would recommend this place to any solo traveler or a couple.
I enjoyed the apartment a lot. It is very spacious for a 1 BR, with a large kitchen and large bathroom with a washer/dryer. The sitting area is large and comfortable and the dining table is also large, enabling me to spread out and work there as well as dine. The host was terrific, coming right away to shovel me out of my parking space so I had a clear path to the alley access. It is a good location, right downtown. It is a very good value overall. I would definitely stay there again.
