The Maravilla has one of the largest pools on Galveston Island! There are 3 pools, one heated a hot tub and exercise room with ocean view! We are very dog friendly with a dog park and shower.
Are you longing for a kiss from the sun on a balmy beach vacation? Sun Kiss condo will accommodate your tropical dreams perfectly. This newly remodeled rental brings the sunny breezes of the beach inside and features a queen bed in the primary bedroom and a queen in the loft, with a privacy room for the bunk beds. Cozily nestled in the Maravilla Resort Condo community, this bright seaside condo features 2 Smart TVs, a fully equipped kitchen, and direct access to three shared pools and a hot tub. You are literally steps away from the main resort pool then hot tub and then the beach entry pool. A quick stroll across the street finds you in the sandy paradise that is Galveston beach! Search for shells and beach glass, build sandcastles, or just let the waves lull you to sleep on your beach lounger. Take in the many attractions such as Moody Gardens, Schlitterbahn or Pleasure Pier. If the salty air has whet your appetite there are abundant restaurants with world famous reputations to satisfy your hunger... Gaido's, Rudy and Paco's, Mama Theresa's Flying Pizza, Katie's , Willie G.'s are our favorites but there are too many more to name! After dining you can meander through the Strand area and shop til you drop. Don't forget the many historical places of interest Galveston offers such as The Galvez, The Bishop's Palace, The Bryan Museum, or The Elissa (tall ship) museum. Sun Kiss condo will be your best vacation location.

A parking fee must be paid to Maravilla office upon arrival. The office does not accept cash. Parking Rules and prices beginning June 1, 2021 are as follows:
1) Parking Rates will be set at $10.00 per car per day PLUS Sales tax
2) Trailers (Motorcycle) will be charged the same rate as cars and are limited to special event weekends such as Biker Rally Weekend. No other time are trailers of any sort allowed to be parked at Maravilla.
3) Per day rates will be capped after $70.00 per 30 day time period, and the per day rate will start over again on the 31st day.

BRINGING YOUR DOG: We welcome dogs so if you would like to bring your pet with you, please send a request with the type and weight and we will send you the approval. Please add PET to your reservation. Our non-refundable pet fee is $150 plus tax for two dogs up to 35 pounds each.

To note: As you enter the complex, you might notice a small construction project at the very
front. This is no where near this condo!

Great place for a small family

This place is great for a small family. We had 5 people: 3 kids 16, 17 & 18 with 2 adults and only one bathroom was a bit of a challenge but the place is still great, just better for a smaller family.

Mini vacay stay

Overall the accommodations were nice . There was an issue with the toilet flushing, but the owner was very responsive when we contacted her about the problem and it was fixed later on that day. The condo has direct pool access and we really enjoyed being able to sit out and enjoy the pool. I would definitely recommend this condo and stay here again.

Nice condo and location. Condo was not very clean with lots of dog hair from previous guests. Rest of the property is getting run down. Weather was our main issue and no one can control that.

Great Condo!

This condo was a gem and was a pretty good location in Galveston. It looks like everything in the place has been updated and it was very clean woth great personal touches. The only reason I didn't give 5 stars is because the rest of thr complex is pretty run down and the beach access is not as close as advertised. It looks like they are updating thr rest of thr complex so hopefully I can change to 5 stars later.

Supplies Needed

Overall we loved our stay... however a few things were lacking. Typically when we stay at a VRBO they provide enough toilet paper, cleaning supplies and paper towel for the week. We got there and had 3 rolls of toilet paper for 4 people for the week. There is no broom to sweep up sand and no cleaning supplies to wipe up the counters. The location is perfect and the walkout to the pool is very convenient. I would stay here again but would expect to bring my own supplies.

Perfect for our family!

The location of the VRBO was perfect for our family. Close beach access, convenience store, and a short drive to all that Galveston has to offer. The weather we had was less than ideal so we were thankful for the space in the unit and the hot tub on property. Communication with the owners was amazing and we enjoyed all aspects of our stay!

Incredible Condo

Easy access to beach, close to good food and the condo was perfect for our family. Loves all the tiny details, including a binder full of the owners favorites which we took the advice and food was wonderful. We will be back!

Everything was great except for the people staying above us were running around in the early morning, probably a kid. And, the smell of the cleaner that was was used before we got there. It smelled like chemicals for the first two days. Perfect on everything else

Great Get-Away!

We had a lot of fun on our short little trip to Galveston. The condo was exactly as shown and pretty much perfect in every way. My girls commented that it was like we had our own little house. This condo is one of the few condos that had a deck with direct access to the main pool area (there are 2 pools onsite). The resort itself appears to be doing some construction or updates to the main common area, which is needed. This work didn't affect the pools or anything to do with the condo. We have stayed at plenty of VRBO properties and working with Donna was the smoothest. Her communications we clear and relative. She both emailed and texted updates to ensure we had everything as we traveled. I think our only complaint is that we didn't stay long enough. Book now and stay for 3 or more nights. :) Great place to stay and LOTS of FUN in Galveston!

Cozy & Quaint

This property was ideal for our girl's get away. As family, we did fine with the accommodations, but maybe wouldn't have been the desired lay-out if we weren't related. First thing we noted is not enough pool towels, so we did have to purchase our own. Overall, it was a great place and we had a great time. We left behind: Beach volleyball, umbrella, and king sized sheet for the beach!!!

The Maravilla is across the street from the beach and has one of the largest pools on Galveston Island! There are 3 pools, one heated a hot tub and exercise room with ocean view! We are very dog friendly with a dog park and shower. This condo offers direct pool access as well.

What makes this property unique

Direct pool access! The Maravilla is located at the west end of the historical Seawall and is a bit more quiet than some of the hotels and condos with small kitchenettes located around 61st street. We are just a bit away from all the hustle and bustle of the island yet minutes from all the fun. Enjoy a nice walk down the Seawall and enjoy all our island has to offer. This condo gives you a chance to bring the larger family down for an economical week or weekend of fun versus hotels that do not have the added advantage of cooking in a full kitchen. We welcome pets so if you would like to bring your pet with you, please send a request with the type and weight and we will send you the approval and a separate payment request for the $150 non-refundable pet fee.
