It was so peaceful and relaxing! Great location between Maggie Valley and Waynesville while being far enough way to enjoy breathtaking scenery and peace! Will be staying again!
We had a fabulous Thanksgiving stay! The cabin is well maintained, clean, organized and easy to fall right into complete relaxation mode! Listening to the creek from the hot tub is a must do with a cup of coffee or drinks in the evening. The night sky with all the bright stars and constellations became our evening news. The hot tub was a blessing after going horseback riding, hiking to see the SoCo falls and a fun afternoon shopping in downtown Waynesville. The kitchen had everything we needed to cook up all of our favorites. Some of our favorite memories were made just hanging out at the cabin together. We appreciate the owners sharing their piece of mountain paradise.❤️
Love the river and waterfall. The decor in the house is just up our alley. Definitely want to take the kids back this summer

Cozy and quaint
Absolutely adorable cabin in every way. Nicely equipped and furnished. Exceptionally clean. Great communication with owner. Location was not what we were expecting from VRBO information but did not take anything away from our visit. Totally would recommend.
Nice place to chill out. Plenty to do close by, but we needed a place to enjoy outdoor life that was cooler than our home. Front porch was perfect. We loved the cows and birds. Back outdoor space was lovely also. Kitchen had everything we needed, except spices, cooking oil/spray. But Kathy’s instructions were thorough so we knew to bring those items. She was wonderful, very responsive and helpful. We’ve stayed in many mountain rentals, looking for a place we would return to. I think we’ve found it. Thanks Kathy. (My only negative comment is the guest bedroom is small. But the dresser was good space and you could hang up clothes.)
We very much enjoyed our stay. Owner took care with amenities and decorations. Loved the front porch, back deck and spa. 20 min to Waynesville, Lake Junaluska and Maggie Valley. Easily accessible but very quiet! King Bed could use a pillow top but ok. Very peaceful which is just what we wanted.
This property blew us away! It was the perfect cozy spot for our little family! We brought our soon to be 1 year old (August 4th) and the cabin made us feel like we were at home! She was able to explore around the house safely and we loved having gates on the back porch! This was a very special and a major memorable trip for us, we celebrated our anniversary, our sweet girls first birthday, my recovery from a bad horse accident in February and to have a spot that made us feel so at home when we were so far from our farm and animals! We will definitely be booking again next year and hope to come back year after year!
The cabin/home was a beautiful sight upon pulling in tgan opened the door WOW awesome, adorable, country home in the Great Smokey Mountains NC was charming along with all the nick knacks adorable.
Than in tge back a babbling Brook you don't get this in Florida.
We throughly enjoyed every minute and will return.
100000% happy visitors along with our 5 pound chihuahua he loved it too
Very conveniently located as well
This was our 2nd visit to Brown's Cozy Cabin and we're looking forward to going back again. This cozy, secluded cabin is very clean, the bed is comfortable and the kitchen has well equipped and the hot tub was wonderful after a day of enjoying the beautiful Smoky's on the motorcycle. We will definitely be back and Highly recommend this beautiful property.
Beautiful home with everything we could have needed for our stay. After a whirlwind weekend and long drive, the hot tub was just what we needed to unwind and became a nightly routine. Unfortunately I came down with a severe sinus infection during our stay but it was the perfect place to relax and rest, especially with the sounds of the creek that you could clearly hear just by slightly opening the bedroom window. This is the perfect getaway for those looking to relax without being right in the middle of the hustle and bustle!
Having visited this cabin before, it did not disappoint this time either! In spite of the rain and cold some of the days, it still was a place to enjoy. It is a cozy cabin indeed, and the property is stunning. The river and waterfall add so much to experience. The views of the mountains are wonderful. We are already talking about returning with our dogs during a different season.
We really enjoyed our time here. It was far enough off the main highways to feel remote but close enough to not feel like you had to go far to see the area. Loved looking at the stars from the hot tub in the evenings.
The owners were really responsive and even reached out to provide guidance when a winter storm was expected. We will be back next time we are in the area!
My wife and I stayed here last year and were so thoroughly pleased that we stayed there again this year. The cabin is quiet and conveniently located close to Waynesville, Asheville and Maggie Valley. The cabin is very clean and well furnished. Kathy is great to communicate with and we will definitely come back! Highly recommended!
This has been such a fun retirement project for my husband. This is a 1938 farm house that he has totally renovated. The home has a great history. He has gone in and remodeled and/or restored everything. All furnishings/appliances/fixtures are new. We love the Maggie Valley/Waynesville area where we have two larger homes that we built for our children and our 5 grandchildren to enjoy. We have made many great memories and hope to make many more. My grandparents always brought me here when I was a child and I want to have those same memories for my grandchildren. We hope you enjoy our home as much as we do.
Why they chose this property
We could have not asked for a more suitable place for a getaway. It has everything my husband and I wanted. You are 20 minutes from Maggie Valley and Waynesville. 35 minutes from Asheville and 45 minutes from Gatlinburg. We are located where you can get to anywhere you need, but, also can enjoy the peace and tranquility of country living.
What makes this property unique
Our home is pet friendly, extremely motorcycle friendly, we both ride, and most importantly grandchildren friendly. Great area to hike and enjoy the scenery.
