The master bedroom accesses to the private master spa style bathroom. It features a jetted large Jacuzzi tub, walk in marble shower stall and double vanities with roomy walk in closets. The second guest bedroom offers a luxurious King bed also with flat screen tv. Third guest bedroom has a Queen Size bed with flat screen tv and lots of closet space. Access to second full bathroom with granite counter tops are off to bedroom and hallway. The condo also has a new queen sleeper sofa and twin sleeper as well as a twin rollaway bed suitable for placement just about anywhere. Labor Day weekend

Stayed with my adult children, 3yo, and infant. condo was nice and fantastic view. we enjoyed all of the ementities and will come again. Kitchen was not overly stocked but we had all we needed for two meals in, and there is a grilling area which was nice. I highly recommend if you are looking for a resort that is quite and out of the hustle and bustle.

Condo is worn

Condo is dirty and needs updates, but will sell because of amenities. View is great. Patio furniture needs fixing. Lazy river is great, plenty of tubes. Even swam in the harbor since the gulf was full of seaweed.

Beautiful place. Better instructions on remotes and cable in living room would help. We got stations in the bedroom that we couldn’t get in living room. If you turned the Tv off in living room the Tv in bedroom would go off. The pillows in master bedroom left something to be desired. There should be a warning on how HOT the water gets in this condo. Plenty of dishes and appliances. Nice place. Would highly recommend.

Stuff we experienced needed a little change

May need to update listing as the second pull out bed that was a love isn’t in there anymore. It didn’t affect us but could someone else. Also the broom that is in the closet to use is so small. So may need big one. The floors were very sticky. But overall was a great stay and would stay there again. Great location and beautiful view

Great location love all the things around to do but this unit needs updated. Mattress and pillows are old and worn out. Furniture needs to be replaced. Very worn. We enjoyed our stay because of the location.

Okaloosa bayside

We were torn between beach or bay. This is the best of both. We stayed on bayside but had access to beach and amenities on both sides of the resort.

Relaxing

If you are looking for a beautiful, clean place to stay with your family for a warm relaxing getaway look no further. This amazing place will not disappoint. We had everything we needed and the all of the beds were comfortable. There’s a balcony that overlooks the bay with plenty of patio furniture and the perfect view of the sunset. A trip across the sky bridge and a short walk takes you to the breathtaking ocean beach. There really is something for everyone to do here! Plenty of restaurants, attractions and plenty of shopping.

Spacious unit with nice view

We were there for a boys baseball tournament. It was great for what we needed. This unit was spacious with a nice view. My only negatives are that the decor is very dated compared to most other units which made it someone dark and you can’t tell from the pictures. This unit would be great with some updating and if it were a little better stocked with the basics.

Comfortable and beautiful view

We had a wonderful stay during the Thanksgiving week. The view was pretty. Kitchen was well stocked. The only issue was that the dryer didn’t work but property manager resolve with alternate solution.

Amazing Stay on Okaloosa Island

This was our first time visiting Okaloosa Island, and my family had a wonderful week at Destin West Beach and Bay Resort. The condo had enough space to accommodate all of us and it was fully equipped with all the necessities needed for a week-long stay. We loved the large patio with the serene water view. The pools and lazy river were a hit with my six-year-old. We liked that we had a smaller pool right next to our building and the lazy river pool area was a short walk from us. We also enjoyed the easy access to the beach - just a short walk over the bridge that connects the two properties. Definitely get to the beach early to reserve your chair and umbrella because they filled up quickly. The beach was great, the only downside was the chair/umbrella rental company takes up the prime spots. I have visited many beaches in Florida, and this beach cannot be beat. The check in process was a breeze and there was always indoor and outdoor parking near the building. The resort is close to restaurants, Publix, the Boardwalk, miniature golfing, and Gulfarium Adventure Park. My son had a blast being part of the dolphin show there (reserved online ahead of time). The property manager was amazing! My son left all his Nintendo Switch games in the unit after we left, and she mailed them back to us the very same day. Overall, it was a wonderful week with unforgettable memories. If you are like me, and look at a million properties before choosing one, then you will not be disappointed.

Best trip ever

We had the best time, the condo is just awesome, not one issue. The property is clean with friendly staff. We had dolphins in the bay right off balcony the whole time we stayed, plenty of activities for the whole family. I will definitely be back! Thank you so much for making our family vacation (Easter) one that we will always remember!!

Bring TP trash bags and dishwasher/laundry detergent

Would stay again. Perfect for 6 but I can see how 10 have sleeping arrangements. Kitchen furnished beyond expectation! The property and grounds are very well done and maintained. Lots of traffic to the elevator to the crosswalk but never found it dirty. Pools were pristine. We added an extra night! If you are excited about the spa tub in main bedroom bring a spa cleaning tablet and let it cycle and clean it before use. Otherwise there are particles from previous guests when you turn it on. This is an informative review not a negative one. We enjoyed our off season stay!

Rating Details: The property manager was adequately helpful. The vacation rental was somewhat dirty. I was very happy with the location. I was very dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: great views and very quiet. The unit needs some updating compared to other units we have rented in Heron. The code for the door never worked. It was changed by management several times and never worked. We had to use the early check in code the whole week (not a big deal) The unit was pretty dirty. The floors were very dirty. The coffee pot had a crack in it. We called 1st morning when we noticed the coffee leaking. We were told a new one would be brought. It was never brought to the unit. The unit sleeps 10 but only enough towels for 8. Extra towels were supposed to be brought and never were. The sink kept backing up as well as the dishwasher. Since management never showed with other issues my husband took off the pea trap and fixed the sink. We found 2 toddler spoons that had made it down the drain (we only had adults with our stay)

Family of 9 vacation

This condo was super nice and plenty of room. From our condo to the beach was about a 7 min walk which wasn't bad at all. The only things we disliked was having to cross traffic to enter the condo parking lot (really busy roadway with no stop lights) and the pool/lazy river wasn't quite like the descriptions and photos. They are easily accessible however on most days the water was murky with lots of debris from the mulch lining the lazy river. Would be nice if there were signs for the lazy river indicating children should not be rough housing and cannon balling into the lazy river. Hard to enjoy a relaxing float with a bunch of kids jumping in and chasing each other. If you are anticipating cooking for a large group, bring a griddle or your own large skillet. Condo only had small skillets, hard to feed my army.

This condo was excellent. Absolutely beautiful view of the bay but also close to the beach. The pools, especially the lazy river, were a big hit since it was double red flags our entire stay. Condo was super clean and close to pretty much everything.

The 2021 Guelfo Vacation

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: I can not express how awesome this room was. The decor was updated and very clean. We only have 3 Points of improvement; Master bed needs a new mattress BAD ! It is worn out and it collapse like a triangle when 2 people are in bed. Oven light and Microwave light needs to be replaced. These are minor needs because the grounds and employees were very nice . We will be back!
