This delightful condo is an END UNIT! Located on the 3rd floor with beautiful views of both the Choctawhatchee bay, lazy river and tropical pool oasis from front balconies. This 1br/2ba unit comfortably sleeps 7. The décor is clean and contemporary with soothing colors and furniture meant for comfort. The warm and inviting master bedroom features tile flooring, a king size bed with Temperpedic mattress and a chair that folds out into a twin size bed, flat panel TV, a private balcony, and private master bath with a shower/ tub combo. The kid-friendly bunk room includes twin bunks with memory foam toppers to make the beds comfortable even for adults, TV, a door for privacy and is located near the guest bathroom. The family room offers a full sofa sleeper, TV, DVD. The kitchen comes fully equipped with a side-by-side fridge/freezer with a water and ice maker, dishwasher, oven with smooth top range, and an over-the-range microwave. Extra touches include a Keurig, crock-pot, fry daddy, new mixer, blender and toaster. A stackable size washer/dryer is provided for your convenience. The unit is tiled throughout and offers complimentary Wi Fi Internet access. Staying in this condo is a wonderful way to experience a fun vacation at this great family resort.

Great Family Place to Stay!

This is a great location and with amenities! We all enjoyed the pool area! There was a huge lazy river, heated center pool and 2 hot tubs. There is direct access to a bridge that takes you to the beach. The condo was nice end unit and had a great view of the pool and plenty of parking spots. The host always replied quickly if I had any questions. We had a wonderful time, thank you!!

Family Vacation

Had a wonderful time at Destin West! The property was very accessible with the pools on the bayside with the bridge granting access to the beach side. Bayside pools were heated, lazy river was chilly but perfect when the sun was out! The unit was well furnished but needs a little updating.

Overall good place, worth the money, little problems with balcony door hard to move , stains on furniture and living room rug. I would like to have a smart tv ,great pool and lazy river , bridge and access to the beach, next door jetski rentals ,excellent for families 9/10

The air did Not work!! They brought us fans. My husband spoke to the people several times.The air stayed at 78 or higher the entire time. I had my grand children and a pregnant daughter n law. This was the worse experience for us!

Awesome place to visit

We had a great time, great location, the unit was really cute and everything was clean… the only issue with the unit we had was that it was very difficult to open the balcony door at the back of the unit.. if my husband wasn’t there, I’m not sure we would have gotten outside. If that gets fixed, it’d be perfect! We’ll definitely make another trip in the future. Gorgeous view. Really nice place.

Wonderful!

This vacation property was exactly as pictured, and we enjoyed our stay immensely. We have stayed in multiple VRBOs, and this was the first comfortable master bed we have slept on. The property was very well maintained, and employees constantly checked to ensure those in and around the pool were facility members. I was worried about the potential young springbreaker crowd around my young kids but found this was never an issue. The pool hours and music were regulated by facility staff with professionalism and were never an issue. It was a lovely vacation, and I hope we can return someday.

Short family get away

Very nice property. Enjoyed the Lazy River! Washing machine works, but is crazy loud and pretty slow cycles so plan accordingly 😊. We had a great time and highly recommend.

Love this area, but condo

The location of the condo and the area is gorgeous. We love to vacation here. However things in the condo were not up to par for this area. The ice maker didn’t work all week, shelves and doors were broken in the fridge. The property management company was not timely in responding to any of our requests and they enter the condo without notifying us of when they would be there. We had friends who stayed in another condo and they did not have the issues that we do. Communication is imperative and they were not timely with their responses.

Best Beach Getaway

This was our first VRBO rental. Very pleased. Carefree check-in is the best! Also loved the keypad entry - no keys to keep up with. Unit was just as described. Lots of room, never felt cramped with 5 adults. Kitchen very well stocked. End unit meant little to no noise from neighbors. Pools and lazy river were clean and well kept. King bed and bunks comfortable. Didn’t use sofa bed. Chair bed in master is not comfortable at all so we used an air mattress. Sofas in living area comfortable. Loved the skywalk over to the gulf side. We did have an issue with dryer sounding like it was going to explode at midnight - called emergency number who walked us through turning it off. We were told it would be repaired 2 days in a row while we were there. It was not. Note for next time to bring enough clothes if unable to wash/dry. Again, we were still very pleased with the unit and resort and would definitely choose this unit again. Would love if all rental agencies/owners would put a resort map in the unit as well.

Another Owner was a Tyrant!

The condo was great! It has plenty of linens and kitchen supplies. I recommend you bring toilet paper because they only left us about 1/4 roll. The pool area was nice except for this lady named Julie. She is one of the owners and would harass everyone as they entered the pool. She even harassed an 8 year old special needs child and argued with the parents about his age. She made the entire week very unpleasant. She had her pool boy come to o our table and lower the umbrella because it was raining. All of our phones and personal items got soaked. It was not windy nor lightening. It would have been great if she wasn’t there to harass people.

Great Family Vacation
