It was convenient for us between the locations of relatives.
We had a wonderful and relaxing time. Everything was exactly as advertised. It was the perfect little get away.
Nice country setting which allowed for beautiful nighttime skies.
Diane was great to work with and her son gave us a very friendly welcome to the place.
Geese and farm dogs were a welcomed treat,
This is an excellent property that we would recommend whole heartedly. The property was exactly as described, very quiet farm in the country yet near to Atlanta and Athens. The hosts had everything prepped and provided for our stay which very enjoyable. We enjoyed sitting by the fire pit outside in the evenings looking at the stars. On our first day we walked the farm to visit with the cows and goats and then walked to the creek. We wanted to take out the provided canoes but did not have enough time. The RV had everything we needed, having two bathrooms was a definjte plus. We were able to easily stream our favorite shows on the living room tv while enjoying the electric fireplace. Can't wait to visit again.
This property is the perfect getaway!
The camper- absolutely beautiful! This camper is like staying in a luxury apartment! The kitchen is like being back home in your own kitchen. The fully stocked kitchen has everything you need to feel right at home. Two extremely comfortable recliners sit just in front of the flat screen and the fireplace! The entire camper Is spotless from corner to corer.
The property- The property is absolutely gorgeous. From the farm animals, to my two new buddies the property watch dogs!
The quick walk down to the creek leads you right into the reservoir with fantastic bass fishing.
The people- Everyone from the time
I booked, to the time I left, have been more than helpful and so very friendly! Everyone was so kind in making sure I had everything I needed to make the stay the best it could be!
I would highly recommend this place to anyone looking to get off the beaten path for a bit and still be 15-20 mins outside of beautiful downtown Covington and surrounding towns. If you decide to stay, give both my buddies (the dogs) a tap on the head for me!!

About the host
Hosted by Diane & Paul Peddle
My husband and I are retired and live in Chattanooga, TN. I grew up on a farm in Illinois and my husband was born and raised in Newfoundland, Canada. We met almost 25 years ago online and he moved to Tennessee as a 90-day fiancé.
Why they chose this property
We bought this RV to park permanently on our son's 47-acre ranch as a relaxing place for us to stay when we visit. Our son, Carlos, and his family take care of the ranch and watch over the RV in our absence. The beauty and relaxation at the ranch is a perfect place to unwind when we get tired of the rat race of the city.
What makes this property unique
The view outside our front door is amazing. Having grown up on a farm, it is a joy to work with the animals and just walk around the property. My son's 4 dogs are so sweet and look forward to our visits because we ALWAYS bring them treats. My daughter-in-law says we spoil them. We enjoy sitting out on my son's front porch and watching "the chicken show". I never knew how entertaining chickens can be. It's also enjoyable to take the 1/2 mile walk to the barn and see the lambs, cows and horses. Never a dull moment on the ranch, but a quiet hideaway when we just want to relax.
