Church retreat!

Christmas gift to family!

Our three kids were there with there kids and my brother in law and his wife! we had a great time playing cards, bingo, watching football games, just enjoying each other. It was a great three days of relaxing!

Perfect for family get togethers

This location exceeded our expectations. We had a great time and the view was amazing! We all watched the sunrise every morning together. The house was absolutely perfect! We had everything we needed and more. They had folded towels and hand cloths in every room. Extra pillows and blankets in each room. I can’t say enough about all the accommodations . I would rent again and again.

Beautiful Lake House

We absolutely loved this home!! It was not only Beautiful but so spacious!! They had so many supplies there for your use, more than any other place I ever stayed at!! We rented a Pontoon Boat for 2 days and really enjoyed the lake!! We couldn’t get over how blue the water was it was like you were in the Caribbean. We used the game room every night playing either pool or poker. If I could give this a higher rating than 5 I definitely would!! All 8 of us would highly recommend a stay at this home!!

Lake house

The property was amazing! The views of the lake fantastic. We all enjoyed it very much. Couldn’t get over the size of the game room. I would highly recommend this property to everyone with a family that enjoys outdoor and indoor activities.

Nice views calm and quiet

The house was great for our family. Split up just the right amount for kids to be in one room. Adults to be in another yet still be able to focus on everybody. The air conditioning worked great and everything else worked great in the house. They were only two things that we could not find a toaster and a cutting board, but that was easily resolved. This house is just right for the holidays!

the home was beautifully decorated. The game room was key. We spent most of our time in the game room. Being off the water is so serin. Everyone absolutely love this home.

Beautiful Lake view

The home is right on the lake with views of sunrise and sunset. Pontoon rentals are very close as are grocery stores. The place is very spacious and the upstairs game room nice. The afternoon sun can be a bit warm as there is no cover or umbrella for shade. All in all we enjoyed our stay.

The place is very clean-the cleanest we have ever rented. Our experience was great even though we had a house issue. The communication was great and the issue was handled quickly. We will definitely be booking another stay in the summer. We loved the house and we loved our stay!

Absolutely stunning property!

The home was absolutely gorgeous and stunning, and literally feet away from the lake! With the exception of the bad weather, one day, and some hidden garbage and debris behind furniture, the home was absolutely stunning and fully equipped with all of our needs. BACHOLOR PAD

House was not equipped for family stay. No toaster, ill equipped kitchen utensils. Furniture in game room was in disrepair. 2 bedrooms had no window coverings. Outside of house had needed more upkeep, too many bugs and weeds. Maybe a new house cleaning service. Could use new beding. Really enjoyed the space, especially the game room. Beds were comfortable. Great location with the lake front and channel to park the boat. Plenty of car parking which was great for our large group. Would stay agin if they do some of the minor improvements. Some child friendly toys and furniture would be helpful.

Family reunion

The location and house was beautiful, making it a nice setting for my family to gather. Unfortunately for the price and type of property we were booking, we felt it should have been better maintained. Things like refilling soap and making sure we had enough towels and some hair dryers should have been taken care of before we checked in. There were maintenance items too that were neglected like a squeeky fan and torn door screen. Our host did respond to our needs when I asked, but the property, when we stayed there was not five star worthy.

Boating & Fishing

Very middle working class family review: This was, by far, the nicest vacation home we’ve ever rented. The cleanliness was top notch. Amenities were as stated. We often rent very basic fishing cottages and we were afraid we’d be a bit out of our league with this really nice house but we really enjoyed what it had to offer. There were four couples, grandparents, parents, two adult children couples, and one 3 year old. We played pool, poker, outdoor games, roasted marshmallows, watched movies, cooked, and used the gym room. Lots to do and plenty of room when the weather wouldn’t let us get on the lake. Getting on the lake: we have a 20’ pontoon and we were able to park the boat fairly easily on the well wall. It was important to us for grandparents to get in and out easily and we could use the steps to help them in and out which we hoped we could. We know the lake level fluctuates dramatically. If it were a little higher, stepping over the wall into the boat would have been easy also. We could have easily fit our second boat had we brought it. Trailer parking and 3 vehicles fit comfortably. A nice gentleman outside the day we arrived said we could use a boat ramp right at the end of the road. Convenient and worked fine. No neighbor issues. We’ve had some unfriendly experiences in other rentals. I get it, they see a lot and I’m sure not everyone is respectful but we didn’t catch that vibe here. We would stay again!

Amazing Experience

We used the house for an intimate wedding ceremony and dinner and it was amazing. The property managers went above and beyond to ensure we had all that we could have needed, but really the house just speaks for itself. Absolutely breathtaking views, beautiful decor and arrangement inside the house, great space for lots of guests, and a variety of activities to enjoy. Can not tell you how many compliments we got on the house itself! Will absolutely be returning to enjoy again!

Worked For What We Needed

The house is large and accommodated 6 adults & 3 kids easily. It had a nice layout and plenty of bathrooms. Loved being on the water and would have liked to take advantage of the breeze by opening the sliding glass doors but the screens had lots of holes and we did not want to let bugs in the house. We couldn't open the windows either for they had damage screens as well. We did enjoy the view even though the upstairs windows were very dirty. What a shame to obstruct such a beautiful view… We discovered that the bedroom (with the trundle bed) did not have a door. Given the location, just outside the main room, it would have been to noisy for any of the kids to sleep in there, so it went unused. We had an issue with the bathroom door not closing well in the downstairs half-bath. It was a fight to get it to stay closed. Pots & pans were a bit grungy. There was nothing there to scrub them properly so their were a few that were greasy and icky. Plenty of glasses, dishes, cups & silverware though. Dishwasher worked. We all looked forward to sitting outside by the fire pit in the evening. We have had the pleasure of doing this at many rentals and it is one of our favorite times as a family. We ran out of propane the first evening after about 2 hours. Found several empty tanks in the garage, but owner texted me he did not provide the propane for our use. My biggest disappointment.!!! The house next door was an eye soar. All kinds of stuff stacked up next to the house. To bad the neighbors don't take better care of their property to help those who rent. All-in-all it was an okay place to stay. It worked for us as a place to stay during the funerals we came to attend. Stores were a short distance away if we needed anything and that was a plus. I don't see us ever renting it again in the future….

Great family vacation

Renting this house allowed us to bring together three households, ages 8 to 87, for a family vacation. There was plenty of room for everyone to gather together, or to go off to be alone. It's a very quiet neighborhood, and being right on the lake was very relaxing. One morning while drinking my coffee I looked out and saw a bald eagle swoop down and snatch a fish. This was the first time I've ever rented a house, my dad was already wanting to rent it again for next year.
