Welcome to Casale Umbro ! Located on one of the rolling hills overlooking the enchanting landscape of Lake Chiusi towards Montepulciano and right on the border between Umbria and Tuscany, this villa is the ideal place to discover the beauty of both provinces.
The extraordinary location in the "green heart of Italy" makes your holiday an unforgettable experience in any of the four seasons.

The villa is situated near the village of Villastrada, only a few miles north of the historical Etruscan city of Chiusi (Tuscany) and south of the medieval town of Castiglione del Lago (Umbria), right at the shore of Lake Trasimeno.
Because of the central position one can make interesting daytrips to the famous cities of Rome, Florence, Siena and Perugia, but to discover the many beautiful little villages and smaller towns in the direct neighbourhood will give yout the real Italian feeling.

The villa is located in a prominent single position, surrounded by 5000 sqm ground with spacious gras meadows, an olive grove, fruit trees and many aromatic plants like rosemary and lavendar.
The large covered terrace is the ideal place to enjoy your meals and some of our famous local wines. The large grass meadow offers relaxation on comfortable garden furniture.
Our guests can use the beautiful pool (15x5 m) with outside shower, surrounded by hedges and herbal plants.

The villa has been recently tastefully and stylishly restored, respecting the existing architecture and the environment. The interior is furnished with elegant simplicity of antique pieces, cleverly mixed with modern design, to create a warm and welcoming ambience, providing WiFi, Sat-TV, fire place and central heating.

The villa is very well equipped for a group up to 8 people
On the ground floor there is an entrance hall and a large living room with a cosy fireplace and two big doors leading to the terrace and the garden.
As a decorative element, natural stones have been kept visible on one wall.
From here you access the spacious kitchen, typical of a country house, with marble working top and a fireplace / barbecue, equipped with all appliances, including a dishwasher.
Also on the ground floor there is a double bedroom with wardrobe and acces to the garden, a bathroom with shower and a separate laundry.
The first floor consists of two double bedrooms and one bedroom with two single beds (they can also be prepared as one double), a lounge area with an extra double sofa bed for 2 more people, two bathrooms, one with shower and the other with a bathtub.

Please note: on the premises is another smaller house situated on a higher position than the main villa. The small house could be rented to 2 persons or a family with 1 - 2 children, but it has its own driveway, parking, garden and terrace.
There is enough space between each of the houses that guarantees a maximum of privacy to all guests.
However, the guests of the small house can also make use of the pool.

Both the villa and the small house can be rented separately or together, giving space for a group of maximum 14 persons.

Important information:

Check-in is possible between 3 p.m. and 7 p.m.
Check-out is possible between 8 a.m. and 10 a.m.
Additional check-in and check-out is possible:
-extra check-out6 a.m. to 8 a.m. 20 Euros
-extra check-in 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. 20 Euros
-extra check-in and check-out 40 euros from 9 p.m. until 6 o'clock.
The grill must be cleaned at the end of the stay, if not, 20 euros must be paid on departure.
On arrival you must leave a deposit of 500 euros and return on departure.
Please contact us 2 hours before your arrival.
You have to pay 150 euros for the final cleaning and 4€ once for each person over 14 years old.
