About this property
The Orange House, Your Creekside Mountain Getaway!
The Space:
Charming two level cabin in the quiet woods of Cherokee County, with a tranquil relaxing creek on the property that can be heard from inside the living room just opening a window, priceless!
Very cozy vibrant recently renewed interiors, featuring a great and bright living space around a brick wood burning fireplace, surrounded by spacious wooden decks on both levels and fire pit on patio. Large windows feels like being immersed in nature.
This relaxing and intimate property is included in a private gated community. It is gorgeous in any season. From the fresh breezy summers to the spectacular autumn colors, the snowy winters around the fireplace to the flowery springs. Few minutes away from the quaint little town of Andrews, NC with unique antique stores full of gems.
Murphy is the next cozy town 20 min southeast from the cabin.
Many breathtaking great hikes throughout the Nantahala National Forest on the Blue Ridge Mountains, mountain biking, white water rafting, tubing and fishing are some of the activities that are just minutes away from the property. It is one and a half hour from Gaitlinburg, TN and Sapphire Valley Ski Area, NC.
Return home after a long day of outdoor adventure and relax by the fireplace while you wait for the grill to fire up!
Fall asleep to the natural sound of the water from the creek or relax on the deck swing reading a book in the shade of the great trees that surround the cabin.
This all season recharging place will make you and your family happy any day of the year.
Guest access:
There is parking at the property for 2-3 cars on the driveway, one more under the car port and one more on the side of the car port.
Additional parking is available at the club house 7-10-ish min walk).
Nice relaxing morning walks are already possible inside the gated community, from the cabin all the way to the summit of the hill that offers also great views.
Other things to note:
In winter, occasionally with icy weather or heavy snow, unless you have an all wheel drive car, it might be suggested to park at the club house and walk to the cabin for some 5-10 minutes.

About the host
Hosted by piercarlo ciacchi

So glad we are finally here as hosts, sharing our place with you! I am involved in Aviation, married to a wonderful woman, Christina, we have a very sweet daughter, Caterina who is now 5 years old. We live in Florida.
My wife's family owned this property for some 20+ years, there are many memories here and my wife and her family spent here wonderful times since she was very little. Her parents wanted us to have it, which was a great gesture from them, we decided to remodel it to make it even cozier. We promised our family they could come over any time they wanted.
We love the place and we felt it was good share it with other families to spend some good time in nature.
We left it full of many features and accessories we are very attached to, which we believe you will enjoy as well, we just kindly ask to love all you find in it as if it was yours, for us and others to keep enjoying them.
We love nature, hiking, eating healthy, gardening and traveling. I am Italian originally, my family there makes wine and extra virgin olive oil from our grapes and olive grow we have there.......which brings up the subject that we will soon have property there as well available on Airbnb!! Its is a 200 years old historical building my grand grand parents build and was originally the first restaurant of the little village called Santa Barbara, in the north easter corner of Italy. Stay tuned! We are looking forward to receive feedback from you to make sure we can keep improving your experience.
