It was a beautiful place, exactly what we wanted. The managers of the place were very good at communicating and responding quick as well. We had a wonderful time
With the busy day we had, we didn't arrive to the cabin until an hour before dark. The cabin literally could not have been more cozy and inviting. My wife and I both saidthat if we were going to have our own cozy cabin on a piece of property, this is exactly how it would look. We loved it!it.ouonlydisappointment
The cabin was clean, cozy and comfortable. The decor was adorable. Since we were not planning on cooking during our stay, it was necessary for us to dine at restaurants. The location of the cabin was remote and nearby restaurants were not plentiful, and we did spend some time commuting to Woodland Park to eat. On day 2 of our stay, we went hiking at Pike's Peak. The cabin was very close to Pike's Peak. Very convenient!
Overall experience was great! Beds were a little uncomfortable but otherwise great cabin! Location to various activities was perfect! Nice and quiet neighborhood!
We love every bit of our stay , everything was in cabin i possibly could need . Location was perfect . They even helped me get my other half a cake to surprise him for his birthday. Absolutely pleased and will book again with them
The decor was super cute and it was a nice space for 2 people. We had a nice relaxing stay and had a chance to get some really good forest photos. We had a little hiccup figuring out the gas stove and oven and adjusting to cooking at higher altitude but other than that, we had no issues.
Went for our first wedding anniversary, cabin and property are absolutely stunning, even better in person, it’s very clean and the hosts are fantastic! Great communication and very easy check in and check out, we didn’t want to leave! Thank you Lee and Jeanne for all of your hospitality I don’t think we’ve ever stayed somewhere so neat in our lives so far. Would recommend this cabin or any of their others to anyone 10/10
The "Retro" cabin on the property was so nice inside and out! It was decorated so well and very cozy. The owners live in the cabin next door and were very accommodating, and certainly not intrusive. At over 9,000 foot elevation, the only adjustment to make was to the altitude!
The retro cabin was the perfect size for our family of 3. It was clean, cozy, and had all the necessities. We loved being in the woods with a mountain view. The hosts were very kind and responded promptly.
We enjoyed our stay at the cabin. I wish there would have been a vent in kitchen to avoid setting off smoke detector. We were making fried eggs and smoke detector went off. I did see a couple of bugs on floor but not bad. Overall our stay went well, my cousin and I enjoyed the peace and quiet. 😊
It had snowed shortly before we got there so there were some broken branches and snow that we had to remove before we could get in. The cabin is very nicely done and comfortable. It heated well in spite of having only electric heat. Overall, it was a very nice place to rest and relax.
I knew it would be a great stay when the property manager reached out immediately with super clear directions and description of the location. Despite being so remote it was amazingly easy to find. Everything in the cabin was perfect, and the hosts are generous with their selection of vinyls and board games. If I’m ever in the Colorado Springs area again this will be a must-stay.
