Margaret and Scott were lovely hosts. The property is super clean and cozy. Plenty of space for a group. We stayed here for a friends wedding and were able to walk into town to the welcome drinks event. We’re so happy we were able to book this property. Highly recommend!

We enjoyed our stay here. The house was great. The only issue was we didn't get to stay longer. The little town is a lot of fun to walk around.

Perfect stay!

The house is spotless, beautifully restored, thoughtfully appointed, and conveniently located. There are beds for many to sleep comfortably, as well as ample dining and hang-out space. The kitchen and bathrooms are updated with lovely modern tiles, fixtures and appliances, and anything a person could reasonably need is easily findable. The area is quiet and walkable to restaurants, etc. Thank you for a perfect stay!

Charming Home Near Downtown

My family, including a teenager and 3 young adults, stayed in this charming home while we were there for a wedding. We loved the location. It was very walkable and just a block from downtown and the biking/hiking path. The decor and collection of old and new games was so much fun as well.

Historic charm meets modern convenience.

Owner met us and showed the property. Anything we needed was included. It was like staying at a friend's house, but wihout the friend. The game closet brought us back to childhood. The arwork was fabulously eclectic. Highly recommend!!!

We were in town for a wedding and stayed here for a long weekend. This spot has a lot of character and is clean, spacious, and in perfect walking distance to Frenchtown coffee, restaurants, and shopping. Highly recommend and would definitely stay here again!

About the host

Host profile image
We have lived in Frenchtown for over 20 years, and love this town, the river, and this circa 1880's house.

Why they chose this property

This home is historic, quirky, and comfortable. It's walking distance from the Delaware River, downtown shops and restaurants, and Artyard, as well as public parks and hiking trails, and the popular bike path that runs from Frenchtown to Trenton, NJ. Winters here are cozy and quiet, spring is bursting with color, summers are filled with river fun, and autumn in Frenchtown is bustling with activity and awash in seasonal hues.

What makes this property unique

Parking is a premium in Frenchtown -- we have three off-street parking spots, accessible from an alley directly behind the house. We also have an outdoor shower -- those who know, know ; )
