Amazing Stay!

We had an amazing stay in Highlands. Property was in a great location that felt secluded but was extremely close to town. Janet was a great host! She met us on site and was available for the entire stay. She was even able to help us with dinner reservations and had a wonderful gift waiting for us when we arrived. This home was perfect for two couples and was extremely comfortable in both the upstairs and downstairs spaces. I could not recommend this place more! We’ll definitely be coming back!

Amazing Property

Wonderful home

We stayed there for our wedding anniversary and had a lovely time. Great house with lots of room for us to spread out. Easy walk to town. Janet, the property manager, was wonderful and easy to get in contact with. She made our trip so special. Would definitely stay there again.

Great Cottage and Fantastic Hosts!

Overall, the house is great! Fantastic location (close to everything). Janet was in constant communication before check-in and during the stay. A fresh cake and bottle of wine waiting for us upon our arrival was a great attention to detail! Very relaxing stay!

Beautiful Cabin

My wife and I stayed here with another couple and it was the perfect setup for this. We will definitely be staying here again. Janet is a great concierge with ideas for dinning or other activities you might might be interested in.

Mountain getaway to see leaves and chill.

Just as shown online. Great location for walking to town or quick drive. Will definitely book in the future. Just two ladies, but we each had our own floor. Highly recommend.

Highlands Weekend

Thank you for the special treat waiting for us at check in. All was great. However, you may not notice but the doorknob on the door to the deck is broken. Also coffee maker was left with old coffee and coffee grounds. Besides that the house was exactly what we were looking for!

Fabulous property manager- ok property

I always read reviews before deciding on a rental, so I feel it’s important to leave an open and honest review myself. I don’t remember what it was, the cost, the pictures, not sure, that led my to think this would be a very nice place to stay. Am I spoiled with nice places? Yes, I will admittedly I am. Anyway, it’s a cute, old rock home from the outside. The inside feels like a log cabin. It’s darkish in the house- one could call it cozy. The main level feels smallish with the nicest part being the looks of the kitchen, it seems to have had some updating. The bedroom on the main level is quite small and the bathrooms have not been updated. We had hoped to have a wood burning fireplace but that’s my fault for not inquiring about it. Traveling down a narrowish staircase you get to what feels like a little apartment with no kitchen. It is one open room except for the small bathroom that is it’s own room. There is a nice sized TV and one of those small fake electric “fireplaces”. If you like pieces of decor everywhere you will like how it is decorated. The bed was comfortable enough for us bed could definitely use a new mattress. I hate leaving a less than positive review but I feel it’s important to say how I really felt about it. There is a reason why everyone mentions the concierge- she, and her special touches, are the best part of this rental. The owners made a good decision hiring her to handle the property.

Wonderful home and location

We were up in Highlands for our annual girl's trip and loved the house. There were four of us and the size was perfect for a short stay. Walking distance to Main St and the fireplace were our two favorite amenities. The wine and cake really topped it off! Thanks for creating a wonderful, sweet, place for visitors to Highlands to stay.
