Elsie Mae's Place - Peaceful Acres
Come and enjoy our peaceful country retreat with horses, goats, and a private fishing pond fed from Plato’s Branch.
Our cabin with king-size bed, bathroom with large walk-in shower with rain head, and queen-size sofa sleeper, full-size kitchen with all modern stainless appliances, washer and dryer available as well.
We are pet friendly. Has to be approved. There is a pet fee of $50. Just 3 miles to grocery store. 5 miles from Joe Wheeler State Park.
Country setting facing horse pasture and Plato branch across the pasture. Sit by the branch and enjoy the peaceful day.
At night sit on the deck and watch the beautiful stars and listen to the Frogs. Just 3 miles to the grocery store or one of your favorite restaurants.
25 miles to florence or 35 miles to Athens.
Guest has the whole cabin to themselves. Also, Platos Branch to enjoy fishing or just sit and enjoy.
I live close and can usually help anytime. But I give my guests their privacy. I am just a phone call away .
Close to Joe Wheeler State Park, Wonderful trails to walk or Bike. 3 miles from downtown, lots of restaurants to choose from. Take a little drive for a day trip at Amish country. Visit Music hall of frame in Tuscumbia.
Park on the side next to the house. Do not park in the drive and block others.
Located in the corner at the back of a small RV Park. Plato's branch RV park .
$250 fee for smoking in the lodge.
Quiet hours 10pm-8am for outside activites.

I love to travel. Staying at some of these beautiful places has been a joy. Watching people enjoy my little part of the world in a real joy. I love trail riding. Lacey (my horse ) and I have been on great rides together. Plan to see even more of the world!
