Two bedroom log cabin with direct access to Little Spider Lake at Musky Run Resort. Located 13 miles east of Hayward. The cabins name is Dolly. What would Dolly do.. but stay here! Public boat launch located 2 miles from the resort. You will have the resort to yourself during the fall, winter, and spring. Due to the fact that the Dolly cabin runs year around, and the other cabins are only open during the summer.
The resort bar and grill is a short stumble, trip, and fall away, and is open Thursday 4-9 Friday 4-9 Saturday 12-9 and Sunday 12-6. I boast the ability to provide warm beer, and cold food. The service is not for the faint of heart. The food consists of appetizers (yes cheese curds!) and pizzas made any way you want..maybe. Internet is available in the bar... but not in the cabin. Gas will be available after the first snow for sale on site. Credit cards are accepted. Come meet Vincent the most amazing resort dog ever.

This place is fantastic. Excellent cabin, great owner, wonderful relaxation. We had a very nice stay, and the owner was very accommodating in every way.
A super cute and cozy cabin that is about a 25 min drive to the Brikie trailhead and downtown Hayward. We came up for the Birkie trail run and were super happy with the location. The owner is really nice and the resort dog, Vincent, is such a sweetheart! The lake is beautiful and the restaurant/bar is a great place to grab a bite to eat. Would stay here again!
Great Lake, host was very accommodating and hospitable. Fire pit, docks, kayaks all were made available for use. Cabin was in fine order and overall a fun experience
We spent a week at the Dolly cabin! It certainly was an authentic cabin, a beautiful view of Spider lake. This is a cabin on a resort. 5 other cabins around, Jill is the owner and she was great. We had use of docks and a pontoon, for an additional fee (minimal). Pet friendly ❤️
Dolly is a great cabin holds 3 or 4 comfortably. Wonderful views of the lake and quiet traffic free location. Jill is a great host and Vincent is the best resort dog. Vincent is excellent with kids.
Had a great time. We definitely love the scenery and the cabin. Great hospitality! Definitely would come back again.

Charming little spot on the lake. This was a perfect home base for the Birkie weekend. Hope to get back during the summer. Jill was an excellent host, very responsive and friendly.
We had a great stay with Jill. Her place is a convenient drive to the Birkie trail, especially if you take the back roads. The Lakeside cabin was spotless and had everything we needed. The location was convenient, but it still felt like a getaway in the woods.
We enjoyed our short stay at Musky Run. Jill was a great host and the checking-in and -out processes were as easy as it gets. The bar is a lot of fun after a day on the lake!
We enjoyed our stay in “Dolly” at the Musky Run resort. Jill was wonderful and very accommodating. Homemade pizza at the bar was yummy. We will definitely be back.
Loved the real logs and vibe of Dolly cabin. Jill and her dog Vincent (camp ambassador) were great. Little private beach on crystal clear water. Had a fantastic time.
We had a great time and loved the location. Be aware these are not high end accommodations and it's reflected in the price. Also, it's dog friendly so be prepared to have a new best friend in Vincent. I know I did!

This cabin provided a great Northwoods experience! Quiet...but not too remote. A beautiful setting on a small recreational lake which was ideal for a family to connect, relax and play. Our host,Jill, was gracious, hospitable and had a wicked good sense of humor! Head Resort Dog Vinnie was a great companion with perfect manners! A great place!
We loved the log cabin. Great patio overlooking the lake. Decent, well-stocked kitchen. GREAT dog who greeted us and kept an eye on everything!
Sketchy WiFi. We would have loved some board games or puzzles.
Really liked the cabin. We stayed in Dolly. I was able to walk through all the cabins and they were all nice and thought the price was a good bargain. There was a small beach area and enjoyed taking a dip in the clean clear lake. The docks for my boat were very nice also. Kayaks were available and had fun with that as well. Jill and Vincent her dog were very welcoming. One of my best vacations all in all.
We enjoyed our relaxing stay in the cabin named Dolly. The Two-bedroom real log cabin has a nice-sized living room, eat-in kitchen, and beautiful sunroom that walks out to a lovely deck overlooking the lake. A nice paved pathway led from the cabin to the dock and a small sand beach with a fire pit. Vinny, the resort dog, welcomed our dog Ceader, and they were quick friends for our entire stay. Host Jill was awesome, very laid back, and helpful. We will definitely be back for another stay.
Still waiting for response from the owner over our recent concerns... we have sent two emails but have heard nothing back. We were told that the resort bar would be open until 9p.m., but the doors were locked at
8:40 p.m.when we attempted to speak to her about our situation before we left.
Basically, it states "resort dog" Vincent (vinney) in listing. What is not mentioned Is that Vinney is never confined or tied and roams freely throughout the property. Our main concern is that we brought our golden retriever as it was advertised as a pet friendly resort. When we arrived the owner basically told us to let the two dogs "work it out" and that her dog Vinney can be a little aggressive at times due to his protection of her. After unpacking, the dog frequently sat on our porch nosing up to the screen with a few low growls going on....This made us very uncomfortable for letting the dog out and nervous for the safety of our golden. Needless to say, we left after two hours. Not recommend if you bring your dog, only if it is at your own risk.
