Whispering Pines on Deer Lake! Beautifully updated and furnished 4 Bedroom, 2 full bath lake home in charming Wautoma. Situated on a large wooded lot with a wrap around deck overlooking Deer Lake. Completely remodeled house that sleeps 11. Relax with the whole family at this peaceful and spacious lake home. Private and located on Deer Lake, (no wake) with access to Hills Lake, (full wake) for additional boating fun, just steps from the home! Enjoy time together on the large deck, around the fire pit, kayaking or fishing in the serene lake, grilling out on the gas grill, or preparing meals in the gorgeous kitchen. Close to restaurants and bars for fun and entertainment, as well as two 18 hole golf courses. Kayaks and small fishing boat included!

Perfect little getaway

Wanted something close to town but still secluded and this fit the bill perfectly! Beautiful location and everything was extremely clean and well kept. Great deck and outdoor area. Would love to bring the family back during the summer and try out the kayaks!

Perfect winter get away

Great property, close to Nordic ski area. Perfect for our family, including the furry ones. Would love to visit when the lake is not frozen. Beautiful views even when snowy and icy.

Ice fishing trip

Great stay for annual ice fishing trip. Had some water issues with the cold and heat turned off when we arrived, however the owner was very responsive and had everything fixed quickly and made it right. Great stay, trip and property.

Perfect getaway

Amazing spot!

Family and dogs stayed for just over a week! It was great for everyone! Our dogs loved water and this spot was perfect for them - extremely quiet and peaceful here! We had everything we needed and more! Definitely going back!

The lake was the perfect size for my four teens to enjoy kayaking. It was big enough for the six of us and could have comfortably accommodated even more. The host communicated clearly and provided everything we needed.

Great getaway spot

Great location for a weekend with friends. House exceeded expectations. Deck is an amazing spot with a nice view. 8 of us (50+ men) stayed and were very comfortable. Lake is stocked. We were on the lake all day. Row boat and kayaks were put to good use. Caught bluegill, crappie and largemouth bass. Plenty of parking space. Perfect spot for our annual trip. Highly recommend.

The property was clean and well equipped. The spacious bedroom in the basement was great for the grandkids. The beach and swimming area was fun for the kids. We made good use of the kayaks and the grandkids caught lots of panfish.

Annual Family Fun Weekend

I have 4 sons and their families (4 kids, 5-13 years of age). The cottage was perfect and roomie enough for our family of 13. Lake view was perfect. Kayaking was a huge hit. So glad they were part of the property perks. Fire pit area was also spacious and wonderful. Great memories were made.

Siblings weekend

PERFECT! Very comfortable accommodations for six adults. Lovely views. Too bad we had rain so we couldn’t enjoy that wonderful deck to its full capacity. Would definitely consider staying here again. Thank you Eric. You are a great host and your place is very nice.

Beautiful home with ample room for all of us. Our son caught a 19 inch large mouth bass off the dock. The littles had a blast swimming. Strongly recommend.

Wonderful Holiday Weekend

Our stay was lovely for the Fourth of July. Fireworks weren’t allowed, but you could see them other lakes near us outside. We could easily fit 6 adults with the 4 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. The lake was so clear; it was great to just relax near the pier. The fishing was also successful. We caught 7 within 2 hours; some on kayaks and some off the pier. We used all 5 kayaks available. The hill was a little steep for adults over 60, but the trail was smooth with sand. The kitchen has the main necessities, but you may need to bring to a couple extras if you’re cooking every meal. We used the grill for almost every meal, which was near a great patio section.

Cabin in the pines

Weather was great. Good small lake for grandkids to fish and kayak safely. A bit disappointed with the condition of cabin. Downstairs bedroom was damp and noisy. Boat that was advertised was not available.
