Sun Pampered Chalet in Wallis

The chalet is in a group of several more or less identical chalets. On one side of the house there are no neighbors. On the other side there is also a chalet 9 meters away, which is mostly empty. Above the chalet there are no neighbors. The standing below the chalets neighboring chalet is only a view from the terrace to the valley, but not visible when you are in the house.

The location of the chalet offers the best options for summer holidays as well as for winter / ski holidays:

Within less than an hour's drive numerous (at least 10) unknown and well-known ski resorts can be reached; Crans-Montana, Verbier, Zermatt, Nendaz, Arolla, Anzère and many more.

To Lake Geneva (Montreux, Villeneuve, Lausanne, Geneva, etc.) it takes about 45 minutes, so in the summer at the foot of the Alps and beach holiday is possible.

The area is in the summer and a haven for hikers and mountain bikers! Countless and unique hiking trails (including the exceptional Suonen hiking trails) and mountain bike trails surround the chalet.

The region is perfect for paragliding.

There are 2 golf courses within a 20-minute drive.

Numerous reservoirs (including the highest gravity dam in the world), several bathing lakes, countless museums, castles and palaces, as well as a wide range of other cultural events have something tempting to offer for almost every interest. This extensive selection allows variety, versatility and limitless leisure!

Beautiful, charming Chalet - Great Owner!
Of all the places we have booked via VRBO, and others, this was the best equipped vacation rental of them all with lots of unexpected and surprising details. The chalet is charming and cozy, with a wonderful view over the Rhone valley. The owner, Markus, is super-helpful and went out of his way to make our stay just perfect. Wunderschönes Chalet für erholsame Ferien
Sehr schönes Chalet, perfekt ausgestattet, auch für Kinder. Es fehlte uns an nichts. Ideal für Urlaub mit oder auch ohne Kindern. Die Aussicht vom Chalet aus ist wunderbar.. Auch die Kommunikation mit dem Besitzer war super. Wir hatten sehr schöne Ferien.

Ideal für Freunde des Hüttenurlaubs
Die Berghütte hat alle Erwartungen erfüllt und war tiptop sauber. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt und wurden auch sehr gut betreut und vorbereitet. Bei Fragen war immer jemand ansprechbar. Die Zimmer- und Bettenaufteilung ist vor allem für eine kleine Gruppe bis 8 Personen klasse. Den großen gemütlichen Gemeinschaftsraum mit Kamin haben wir leider kaum genutzt, weil wir ob des schönen Wetters zumeist draußen auf der Terrasse saßen. Die beiden Bäder waren neu gemacht - klasse. Ein kleines Minus gibt's für ein Doppelstockbett, das etwas instabil war. Für eine uneingeschränkt sehr gute Bewertung müsste sich das mit den neuen Bädern gesetzte Niveau auf die vier Schlafzimmer ausdehnen - aber das schien nach unserem Aufenthalt schon als Maßnahme geplant zu sein. Alles in allem ein gutes Preis-Leistungsverhältnis, sehr freundliche Vermieter und Ansprechpartner: eine tolle Basis für einen Aufenthalt in einer wirklich schönen Gegend. Die Gegend bietet viele schöne Wanderwege und Natur-Freizeitmöglichkeiten und zur Skisaison natürlich auch die Nähe zu den Skigebieten Anzere und Crans und den Walliser Alpen insgesamt. Da wir im Sommer da waren, waren wir mehrmals auch im Tal und haben dort einen sehr schönen Badesee (Lac de la Brèche) angesteuert. Schon der Weg dahin durch die Weinberge war eine Augenweide. Die Kantonshauptstand Sion ist schnell zu erreichen bietet auch zahlreiche Kulturangebote und was für Flaneure. Sehr schön ist dort auch der Freitags-Markt mit vielen Markständen von Erzeugern aus der Region.
