Excellent location, quiet neighborhood.

My friends and I were in town to ride at Whitewater. Marnie was very helpful and communicative as we worked through some logistics before our arrival. The apartment was clean, well equipped for our cooking needs (including sharp knives!), and her home roasted coffee was excellent. The neighborhood was quiet, and was well positioned for an easy drive to the mountain, and a nice, manageable walk back from town. I will look forward to coming back to stay again!

Nelson gem

Great two br home base for our ski trip to Whitewater. Nice that the home is on the edge of Nelson, making it closer to our adventures on the slopes!

Comfortable and close to everything

We loved this spot! It's in a quiet neighborhood on the edge of Nelson, a short drive from the shops and activities. The radiant heat keeps every corner of the unit cozy during winter. We look forward to coming back.

Above expectations!

The suite is very clean, very well equipped and so nice. The view on the glacier is breathtaking. Our host Marnie made sure we had everything, she even roasted organic coffee beans for us!!Our only regret is that we should have stayed longer!

Marnie and her family, welcomed us into their “home” as if we were family. Marnie, went out of her way to make us feel comfortable. The suite is very clean, fresh and well equipped. The location is perfect for the short trip into Nelson or for an excursion to the surrounding area. We are so pleased we found this gem. We will be back next year!

We've stayed at three places over the last few years while visiting Nelson and this one is by far our favorite. Marnie was very accommodating and everything about our stay was wonderful. This will be our 'go to' place next time we visit Nelson or the surrounding area.

Escape city chaos

This home is beautiful. Simple, modern, bright and clean. It is nestled back in a quiet neighborhood just outside of town with a sweet outdoor spot where you can soak in the sun and the views. All that being said, the highlight of this property are the owners! Not only did they provide freshly roasted coffee and popcorn, but when Marnie heard it was my husband’s birthday, she left us a special treat in the refrigerator. She was quick to answer questions and share information about the area.,.yet was respectful of our privacy as well. Truly, the best host experience we have had. We hope to return during ski season!

Bright and beautiful!

We loved our stay here! There are windows and views everywhere. You’re at the top of a hill. We loved sitting at the table, surrounded by flowers in the front yard. The kitchen is beautiful and the whole place is impeccable and feels brand new. We were on a biking trip and so happy to do our laundry with wonderful lavender laundry detergent provided. Our host was so friendly and helpful. We don’t drink coffee so she actually surprised us with a can of hot chocolate! I would definitely stay there again if I was in beautiful Nelson.

Awesome VRBO in beautiful BC

We were on a week long holiday in north central BC and found Marnie's VRBO fit right in with our travel plans. It's too bad we didn't have more time to stay in the quiet mountain area of BC. Hopefully we can get back there again next summer!

Fun stay in Nelson BC

Very clean property. Easy communication with Marnie. Was happy there was a portable ac unit during an intense heat wave. The added touches of supplied coffee and popcorn were appreciated. The hosts Marnie and Allan were very friendly and were quick to inform us of events in Nelson. Enjoyed our stay.

Fantastic Suite

Not only did my son and I have an excellent weekend golfing and fishing in Nelson but the accommodations and hospitality provided by Marnie were beyond our expectations. The suite was clean and spacious and had all the amenities we needed. Far better than any hotel room. And the view was beautiful. Marnie made sure we were comfortable from the beginning to end of our stay. Probably the best hostess I have had the pleasure of meeting.

Perfect!

Spotlessly clean and perfectly equipped. Absolutely everything we needed. Short drive to downtown Nelson or hiking trails. Marnie was fantastic to deal with and we were so happy to meet her before we left. Highly recommend!!

Perfect Property!

Our stay at this property was perfectly perfect. It is a guest suite attached to what seems to be a fairly new build. The property is clean, modern, comfortable, and very well-priced. An additional "perk" to the property is that the owner roasts her own coffee beans and provides a jar of the delicious beans, a coffee grinder, and a French press for your caffeine pleasure. Check in and check out were easy. The property also has lovely gardens and a place to sit outside and enjoy the amazing views. I would definitely stay again, and was so happy to meet and chat with the lovely owner. 100% recommend for those driving in to Nelson with your own vehicle. If you plan to arrive in Nelson and then walk to everything you need, this may not be the place for you as it is a very short drive from downtown. The walk is doable, but a car is handy. Super clean property, super nice owner, and a perfect home away from home.

Amazing host and property!

The location of this property is breathtaking for and out of towner like me! Perfect distance for peace and yet a 2 minute drive from downtown. Stunning Stay in Nelson!

We loved our stay in Nelson, BC. The location was truly ideal for our skiing at Whitewater and enjoying all the beautiful restaurants of Nelson. Every detail was perfect including the gorgeous kitchen, comfy beds and bedding, stylish accessories/art. The space was private, quiet and every window offered a gorgeous view.
