Tiny house

Overall the stay was superb. Great communication by host. The only area for improvement would be the futon. It had a gigantic hole in the underside making it very uncomfortable to sit/sleep on.

This was a great place for a three day trip to dinosaur valley. The hosts were great and the property was awesome. Super quiet and a lovely view from the deck. We enjoyed the cattle in the pasture right behind us. We even caught a glimpse of a Greater Roadrunner on the private road up to the house. We also had an up close encounter with some type of hawk in the wood next to the house. The tiny house is in fact tiny but good for one adult two kids or two adults. We brought a Colman stove and cooked out on the roomy deck.

Prairie Rose Cabin

Perfect cabin if you are looking for a very small cabin. Has everything you need, and is super precious and private. Truly is for only 1-2 people.

Solo stay at hilltop tiny home!

Beautiful sitting on top the hill with an amazing view, sunrise is unbelievable! Quaint little dream home, perfect for one adult and maybe a small calm well behaved child. I stayed here alone for 3 nights and it was the best retreat ever! Everything you need is there and the very close neighbor didn’t bother me at all. Even woke up to a beautiful white horse just outside! Will treasure this little creative home forever.

Mini Vacay

The tiny house is very charming. Very quiet and had amazing views. The only issue we had were a hive of yellow jackets. We ended up killing 14 in total. We are guessing that since we warmed up the cabin, that is what brought them out. We were killing them all night. I informed Kaye and she was very apologetic and offered us a full refund minus the VRBO fees or that we could move over to the other cabin. We took her offer and moved over to the other cabin. It was a beautiful 2 bedroom cabin and super comfy. Kaye and her family went out the same morning to look for the yellow jackets. They were going to call pest control to take care of the wasps. It was a great weekend for me and my husband, we will definitely stay again.

About the host

Hosted by Kay Myers

Host profile image
Stan and Kay Myers have hosted guests for eleven years at our four properties. We love sharing our beautiful area with guests. Things that make it fun: river access, fire pits, feeding farm animals, hiking in the woods. Consider the size of the TINY HOUSE if bringing children. Football linebackers or 6' models might not find the TINY HOUSE comfortable.

Why they chose this property

Ideal for youthful guests who love the out of doors, and opt for a unique "tiny house" experience.
