The place is as advertised. It’s old and charming. (Anyone moving about at night can easily be heard.) I was initially a bit leary of the neighborhood as we arrived after dark, but we were able to walk to restaurants nearby and also walked to Hyde Park and the indoor pickleball center. All good and we enjoyed our stay. Jeanne is very communicative and provided check-in code before we arrived.
Exactly what our family needed for our stay in Cincinnati. I don’t have one negative thing to say about this property. Very clean and accommodating. Will be my go to the next time I’m in town.
The home was absolutely gorgeous and very comfortable! We loved the woodwork, the radiator heaters, the big kitchen sink, both the front porch and the back deck. We walked the neighborhood to breakfast and ice cream and felt very safe, and enjoyed the proximity to so many venues. We may visit again in the fall and we would happily stay here again! Thank you for the hospitality.
The location is walkable and wonderful in the heart of Oakley central in Cincinnati. The area was safe and easy to navigate. The house was very clean and well maintained and we appreciated its historic character. We enjoyed coffee and birdsong on a sunny morning on the back deck.We had a problem our first night when the failure indicator noise on a smoke alarm was going off and we had trouble figuring out what it was. The host was responsive and helpful - which is great!Next time we’re in Cincinnati we hope this home will be available for us - traveling with two young kids.

It is a beautiful home and so comfortable. I would stay again in a second.
Thank you to Jeanne for being a great communicator, and for creating such a comforting and lovely home to stay in. The seasonal decorations were incredibly charming. We all enjoyed staying at the property. I imagine in warmer months the yards look very cute as well.
The home was comfortable and clean. We loved the location and the description met the expectation of what the home offered. The owner was responsive when we reached out for access to the house.
This home was just as described in listing. Very clean, nice neighborhood, many intersting books to browes/read, loved the paintings, patio and garden. Would definitely stay again.
We stayed here while visiting our son at Xavier University. The home is very clean and charming. The street is quiet and if you enjoy running (or walking) it is in a great location for that too. The host was very quick to respond. We will definitely try to stay here again.
We enjoyed our stay and walked from the house to local restaurants, an ice cream establishment and a coffee shop during our visit to Cincinnati! The house was comfortable and filled with charm! We’d definitely stay here again!!
We truly enjoyed our stay here! I went to Cincinnati for my son's wedding and stayed here for a week. The house was very clean and well equipped with everything we could possibly need. Beyond that, it was decorated with such care and attention to detail. We felt like we were staying at a friend's home rather than an impersonal rental. The beds were comfortable, rooms were so nicely decorated, and the deck and flower garden in the backyard were so lovely. I will definitely book here again if it is available the next time I come to Cincinnati!
the area was perfect, no noise, quiet neighborhood, you don't even know that you have neighbors, I stayed for the weekend with my wife, we went to the riverboat ride, and also the Cincinnati zoo , It was close to both, Restaurants all around, The Host Jeanne has a book detailing everything, The house itself, has hardwood floors and woodworking throughout the house, her flowerbed, is relaxing. It has a covered front porch, and a back deck, Actually, I think we underpaid her for the property, Terrance & Cindy
