Tortuga 4 Masters, Hot Tub, Pool, Game Room


Tortuga is the perfect house in many ways. It has an incredible view of both the ocean and the sound. The house is high and the breeze is wonderful. We like to cook and it's well stocked for cooking . It's a great house for families or couples because each bedroom, excluding the bunkroom, has a private bathroom within the bedroom. Tortuga's décor is a tribal boho beach theme. There is always something interesting to look at. It's perfect for a great cup of coffee on a rainy day or a great glass of wine. The furnishings are beautiful but comfortable including the beds. We love repeat guests.

Top Floor- Full kitchen, Living Area, half bathroom and Queen bedroom with on suite full bathroom with jetted tub

Middle floor- 3 Bedrooms (1 Queen, 2 Kings) with on suite full bathrooms, Laundry room with full sized washer and dryer. Top floor queen bedroom and all middle floor bedrooms have private baths attached to them.

Bottom Floor- 1 Bedroom with Full sized bunk beds, half bathroom, game room with pool table, extra refrigerator. Poker table, also "Kid's Cave" with Wii gaming system. Hot tub on back deck over looking the fenced pool patio area.

Pool area has covered shaded area for lunch and sun bathing areas along with an outdoor shower. Street level storage room has umbrellas, beach chairs, coolers, beach cart, boogie boards, and beach toys.

Each level has front and back decks.

Pier Pass included--Free access to fish and walk the Rodanthe Pier

Rented with local company in OBX for 7 years, now booking ourselves with VRBO starting with the 2022 season, thus no reviews listed in VRBO.

Rodanthe vacation

This house is amazing!! Has everything you need for your stay. The owners are very kind and left cinnamon rolls for us one morning. Beach is less than a minute walk away. If your looking for a great vacation home look no further.

Great location and hosts!

Laura and her family were fantastic. The house was well equipped with all necessities and the layout was great for everyone having their own space. We loved the cinnamon buns that were left for us the first morning too! There were a few issues with the pool and hot tub that Laura took care of right away! We would definitely stay there again!

Great Stay

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Tortuga. The home was clean and well furnished. The location is good; we loved the short distance to the beach. The kitchen was adequately stocked, and we loved playing pool in the game room. We appreciated the owners touching base to make sure everything was in order when we arrived, and they even left a sweet treat for our family’s arrival. Overall it was a wonderful experience!

We had so much fun at the Tortuga! The home is so beautiful and fully stocked with everything you need for a fun vacation. The location is perfect - short walk to the beach and pier. Highly recommend!

Beautiful beach home!

Beautiful house so close to the beach and pier. Plenty of room for a large family or group of friends. Had every amenity we could have asked for. Perfect vacation rental!

Exceptional Vacation Home

This is a wonderful house in a wonderful location. The owners are great and ensure that your experience is perfect. The house is well stocked and very clean. The beach is within a very short walking distance and there are several great local restaurants near by. We will be returning to this property in the future!

Our family really enjoyed this home, the location was perfect for us, nice and quiet and the beach not crowded. The owners left us a fantastic welcome basket of delicious baked goods and also called to check in and gave us some great restaurant recommendations. 2022 Family OBX Trip-Tortuga

For over 20 years, my family has been coming to the OBX. I can honestly say that this was the best location by far! Everything at Tortuga exceeded our expectations…cleanliness, a fully equipped kitchen, tons of beach gear, plenty of space for a family of 9 to sprawl out…It was a fantastic week!

First trip to OBX

We had a wonderful time as a larger family group reconnecting and making memories together at this beautiful spacious beach home! There was so much space for our group, there were plenty of supplies including tons of beach toys/beach supplies. It was a super quick walk to the beach and the private pool was perfect for our younger kids to gain swimming confidence! We loved the decor in the home and the views from every deck/balcony is really what made this home the most spectacular!! Highly recommend this place for your group!

Great vacation house.

Our family a week at Tortuga July 2024 and it was simply wonderful. 3 adult couples plus a 10 mth. As I said to Laura the house is ‘bigger’ and better appointed than shown in the photos. The only gotya would be the number of steps to the living floor; my wife counted 44. So that might affect some potential renters.

Family Fun

Beautiful accommodations. House was perfect for a large family and really close to the beach. The only downside is the house is not handicap friendly. But, if you're healthy and able to climb steps go and have an amazing time.

A short walk to the beach

Our family took our annual OBX trip and stayed at the Tortuga. The house is large with four flights of stairs. We were a minute walk to the beach and pier. The pool is small, but large enough to cool off. Our one small issue with an appliance was addressed and repaired immediately. The house was extremely clean. We really enjoyed our stay.

Amazing

This property is amazing! The bedrooms are spacious with lots of bathrooms! It is right on the beach! You can see the ocean from either sides of the decks! It was clean and the kitchen is well stocked with cooking appliances! The kids and adults had a blast in the pool. There were a ton of movies/DVDs for the rainy day and board games! The pool table and card table were fun too! Excellent place to stay for family and friends!
