Great house!

The house was a cool setup. Loved the privacy of it but also was not far away from amenities. The hot tub and fireplace were great ways to enhance the house, especially for chilly nights in October! My husband and I had a wonderful stay and would definitely recommend staying here.

Rustic home stay

My group of 4 adults and 2 small children enjoyed our stay at the property. Check in was easy. The space was very clean, the house was in a relatively convenient location to Ludlow, Echo Lake and some nice hikes but it also felt very secluded and peaceful. I’d stay again if I was in the area.

This place needs a/c. It’s hot. Don’t book this place during the summer.

The house itself was ok. Plenty of room and secluded.

Fun ski trip

Great house! Small issue with getting into the place with the keybox, but was quickly resolved. We had a great time, it was so comfy, great place to come home after a long day of skiing, exploring, etc. Lots of room to spread out with the family and nighttime hot tub soaks in the cold air were so refreshing!

Winter Stay

This house is a perfect winter get away. The only knock i have is the hot tub did not work. this was a big selling point after long days on the mountain. Otherwise the house had everything needed for a good time. There is no cell service, but the wifi worked excellent. They also provide a house phone if any calls are needed.

Comfortable Beds!

Generally loved everything about the rental - comfortable beds are a BIG win , otherwise well equipped quiet and roomy for our small group Access to the property would be an issue if snow fell during our visit - road approaching is steep and unpaved (still generally smooth, but some ruts had formed) Also steep lip to get out of driveway. But don't let these challenges keep you away - we had a great time and the house is very nice and perfect for Killington/Okemo skiing

Good rental

Overall great place. Very quiet and peaceful for sure. Fireplace was really great! Wood was easy to get as well. Only 28mins from Killington Ski Resort and Village. Also, nice having the washer and dryer. They had playing cards and game which we used. Tips: I would suggest getting groceries before you arrive. Not much around far as groceries stores. P.s Maybe not a good place for anybody that has trouble with stairs. Top floor is Kitchen, dining, and family room. Entry floor is bathroom and landing area (good spot for collection shoes and other cloths). Middle floor is bedrooms and other bathroom. Bottom floor is washer and dryer and small kids area.

Mountain Getaway

We loved the mountain cabin. We stayed for 3 weeks and were very comfortable. The cabin was beautiful and well-equipped with everything we needed. The area is peaceful, scenic, and a perfect location in Vermont to drive to waterfalls, hiking trails, sightseeing, and fishing. We had a great time!

Fabulous family spring break

We truly had an amazing time on our family vacation. The property was clean, well stocked and centrally located. Each day we chased waterfalls and hiked nearby trails. Girls enjoyed the hot tub each morning and evening followed by roasting marshmallows:)

Great last minute get away

We decided to take a last-minute trip to Vermont for a reboot, and to sneak in some last-minute skiing. The house is a perfect distance between Killington and Okemo Mountains. There is not much around, so I would be sure to bring your groceries with you when driving through the other larger towns. The house was the perfect size for our family of 5, more would be getting tight. The hot tub was great for relaxing and plenty of firewood to enjoy the fireplace. My only CC, it was a bit more than we wanted to spend for the house for the time of year. I do wish there were some blankets for the couch or some towels for the hot tub available. Coffee or tea in the panty would have been nice. There were towels for showering but super small. Overall, it was a positive experience and enjoyed it.

Winter vacation

This house key all of our expectations. Everything was clean. All of the essentials for cooking were present. Including a variety of spices and oils. It was a short trip between Killington and Okemo. There is also Coolidge State park a short drive away that provides tons of trails. The hot tub was great.

Extremely disappointing stay

The home would be very nice if it was in proper working order. It is located in a quiet spot on a dirt road which is nice if you have the right vehicle to enjoy it. But sadly for our stay, this house did not come through. For one - there is no cell service whatsoever (for Verizon) anywhere nearby. We had absolutely no wifi or landline telephone service either for 95% of our stay (Friday - Sunday). This issue was not fixed until 8pm the evening before we departed. Had there been an emergency we would have not been able to do anything but get in the car and drive somewhere which is concerning. We booked this home because it advertised strong wifi, a wood fireplace and a hot tub! This was booked as a celebratory weekend for a birthday where we expected to relax in the hot tub after each day of skiing, enjoy a fire and then watch a show together as a family. The hot tub was 66 degrees when we arrived Friday evening and did not reach temperature until Saturday morning. No one bothered to set it early enough for our stay to actually enjoy it. Additionally this house does not provide fire wood. So if you choose to stay here, buy wood. Come prepared. It does not state that you need to bring wood, but if you want a fire in the fireplace, buy wood in town. This home could have been a great retreat to relax after a day of skiing nearby, but sadly was not worth the price whatsoever. We called (once in town with cell service) the property managers 4 times throughout Friday evening - Sunday and little was done to fix the issues.
