The nearby natural landscape of the Barther and Darßer Bodden invites you to cycle tours, fishing and sports activities. With the well-reached Usedomer Bäderbahn (UBB, stop point Saatel), a bike trip to the beaches of Prerow and Zingst, about 20 km away, is recommended. These can be reached by car in about 20 minutes. Also worth seeing are the bird park in Marlow and the Hanseatic city of Stralsund, only 20 km away. Here, a stroll through the historic old town offers extensive shopping and cultural opportunities. It is well worth a visit to the Maritime Museum and the Ozeaneum.
