We purchased this cabin as our family's vacation home and wanted to share the peace and comfort it has afforded us with others. The home was built in 2005 in withstood the terrible fires that destroyed a large number of buildings in 2020. Thankfully our cabin survived and the town is rebuilding! The cabin located right off of Highway 22 across from Detroit Lake. The cabin is surrounded by trees on a quiet dead end road. Has heating and air conditioning, as well as high speed internet.

This owner was great! I received prompt responses to all communications. The cabin and setting are lovely. Town and recreation spots are minutes away. We will certainly visit here again.
Everything about the property was great exept the rule of no cooking fish. We had planned on fresh fish for both dinners since the town's dining & grocery options are extremely limited, and places close early.
We stayed here and headed to Breitenbush for the day. It was perfect to have a bit of space and a kitchen and soft beds(!) to sleep in after a day soaking. The house was lovely and had everything we needed!

What the listing doesn't tell you is that the property is fantastically quiet and nestled right in the trees with a gorgeous steep forested hill in the backdrop. The river is just down the hill and a fun place to walk along. The "travel crib" is actually a real crib and our 8 month old was very comfortable. The loft is a great place to gather, safe enough to let the baby down to play, plenty of interesting toys and things for younger and older kids, fantastic place for kids to sleep, and the foosball table is a good sturdy one. The house was super clean and easy to keep clean. The rooms are quiet enough away from the bustle (baby naps!). The family thoroughly enjoyed the stay and we're looking forward to doing it again in the future.
