Everything you need for a comfortable vacation is included: private swimming pool, luxury linens and towels, Wifi, flat screen TV with cable TV and DVD player, games and puzzles for the kids, fully equipped kitchen with new stainless appliances, laundry room with washer and dryer, beach towels and chairs, Queen and King beds in the bedrooms plus a full size Murphy bed. When you're tired of the sand and salt and crowds, hang out in the backyard tropical paradise or relax on the porch, or in the air conditioned house.

Great getaway!

This place was great! The owner was extremely responsive, and it’s a very private area. I stayed in January so I would recommend bringing slippers because the floors get cold!!

Casita with big comfort

We celebrated new year with my small family. Beds were comfortable. The heated pool was a must with weather in the 60s. Host was very responsive when we had a question. We will definitely be coming back.

Great Island Getaway

This house is all about the pool! It's in a nice central location, obviously being on Galveston Island nothing is very far away but we found it to be pretty much 5 minutes from anything we wanted to do. The house overall was nice and clean, very comfy beds and the bathroom handled our needs. One thing I will advise is on our stay the kitchen faucet had little to no water pressure. Maybe we just caught at a bad time, but don't expect to be able to really rinse/wash things well. That minor issue aside, again it was all about the pool. The pool area is amazing and even when a heavy storm moved through the pool cleaning robot got the pool cleaned up in just a couple of hours. Would definitely stay here again!

Nice House Near just about everything

We stayed a week after hurricane Beryl came through the coast. Honestly, I'm kind of surprised the house was available, but it was. The check in process was easy, host communicated very well. Lots of restaurants and entertainment was about half open due to the storm, but the beach was wide open and no one was there. The only critique I would have was that the pool filter hadn't run in about a week due to the storm having knocked out power. The water was green on arrival as it had just sat stagnant. Nothing the host could have done but notify the pool cleaning company, which he did and relayed they were backed up due to the storm. I was able to kick it back on and after a night of it running constantly, was back to normal the next day. Overall, it was a great stay and the family really enjoyed it. Would stay here again.

4th of July holiday

Quick access to the beach and city’s fireworks display. Location was perfection. Cute place, great air conditioner during the hot summer days and nights! Communication with host was fabulous. Very minimal household products available, bringing or buying your own cleaning supplies (paper towels, laundry detergent, toilet paper, etc) is highly recommended. Small, but noticeable general maintenance issues in the house being fixed would have given this stay a perfect score. Overall it was a very enjoyable stay! Would recommend.

Guys getaway weekend!

The property was a perfect getaway spot for 4 people. We did a deep sea fishing trip and this place was perfect to come back to to relax and enjoy the great weather out by the pool! Would stay here again!

Small, simple yet very comfortable

Overall had a great stay, really recommend it. Was just a little bit smaller than anticipated. The living room was small especially tight but we spent 85% of our time in the pool outside or walking on the beach. The other 15% we spent sleeping lol. Neighborhood was a little sketchy but no one bothered us.

Great Location and Excellent Amenities

This property is located in the middle of old Galveston, about halfway between the Strand and Seawall Boulevard. The neighborhood is quiet and clean. We had no issues parking our car on the street overnight. The house is the perfect size for a couple or small family. Cleanliness and appearance of the property seemed to be priorities. The pool has a heater and chiller for use year-round. Communication with the host was excellent prior to and throughout our stay. I plan on staying at this property again, should the need arise.

Family weekend getaway for 14yo birthday!

We had a lovely time at the Casita! The pool was so warm, even in the chilly rain. The house was very cozy and accommodated the four of us and our two pups perfectly. Great communication from property manager. Very close to everything. House was painted white in the online listing but painted black when we arrived- didn’t change the experience, just wanted to note it. Good supply of cooking utensils in kitchen, cute decor throughout.
