Peace cottage stay
My partner and I came up to escape Brooklyn for a bit and had a wonderful stay. We would have loved to have a grill in good condition and there’s a few holes in the chicken wire fence that could easily be mended for a better experience with dogs, but otherwise we really enjoyed the house and the sound of the stream is lovely and healing.

Absolutely lives up to its name
I can’t say enough good things about peace cottage. It was exactly what we needed for a short ski getaway in a beautiful location. The home is a very funky and fun and eclectically decorated peaceful and cozy place to spend a night or a couple nights. Excellent communication from the owner and very well stocked with everything you would need super happy with this place. You can tell the owner put tons of thought into this home and it shows. Absolutely would come back again.

Willow Stay
Perfect weekend getaway! The location was perfect, the house clean and cute. Lots of thoughtful touches throughout! We had a great time playing the board games and just hanging in the yard and by the stream. Would definitely come back!

Peaceful stay at Peace Cottage!
I came for the weekend with a friend and we had a wonderful time. The property is beautiful and the house is lovely. It is clean and comfortable. Nidhi and John were very responsive and helpful. The location is great, not too far from anything but remote enough that it is quiet and the stars can be seen on full display. I hope to be back again soon!

Peace Cottage is the perfect name!
Not fancy shmancy, no carefully manicured landscaping like in suburbia, BUT exactly what the name implies - a peaceful retreat and that was exactly what I was looking for. The peace cottage has a beautiful vibe inside and out. This adorable little cottage is filled with loving energy and it is the perfect place to decompress and unwind. A true hidden gem.

We found the cottage to be exactly as described. Peaceful, rustic and very quaint. Everything was clean and welcoming. The yard was a welcome addition for our 3 dogs. The host was always available via messaging and was very responsive. Overall a very relaxing experience.

Lovely place with beautiful creek
Peace Cottage was super cute and welcoming, a wonderful place to make memories. The highlights were eating on the deck and wading in the gorgeous creek every day. Some amenities and appliances were a little worn so if you're planning on doing a lot of cooking at home it might be a good idea to bring some of your own things but we were able to get by fine, and there's plenty of great restaurants in the surrounding towns. Thanks for a great stay!

Great cottage for a relaxing getaway
The Peace Cottage was a great place to stay for a relaxing long weekend. The large fenced yard was perfect for our dog, and we all enjoyed hanging out by/in the stream. Easy drive into Woodstock or Phoenicia for eating out, but the kitchen was also well equipped for the few meals we made at the house. Nice location to explore area trails and state parks. We really enjoyed our stay--thank you to the hosts for sharing this cottage!

Stayed here with 3 friends for a quick overnight. Host was great and very responsive before our stay and you could tell they truly wanted us to have a nice stay. Peace cottage was a perfect place for our one night trip to Woodstock.

What a wonderful abode and such a pleasant space for a family to pull tarot cards in the morning light. Lovely fairies reside here as well. A must stay of a place for the mindful nature.

Simple check-in process and no issues at all during our stay. Nice back deck to hang out on overoooking the river right at the edge of the yard. No cell service at the house, but if you need a connection the wifi worked well. I'd definitely come back!

Quick overnight
We had a great stay at Peace Cottage. We arrived at night to a warm and well-lit house. It wasn’t until we woke up that we discovered the true beauty of the house - the backyard. It is directly on the stream with easy access and many peaceful spots. A short 15-min drive to our event in Woodstock and even closer to Phoenicia. A great resting place to enjoy my beloved Catskills.
