Log Family Cabin in the great Heber Valley, Wasatch County Mountains
A great Log Cabin home with 4 bedrooms and 3 full bathrooms. Our home sleeps up to 12 people. There is a large family/gathering room, a dining room with a table that seats 8 people and a very large kitchen with extra seating at the island.
Our cabin is located to areas that offer outdoor activities you can do year round. There is fishing and/or ice fishing on Deer Creek Reservoir (within minutes of the home) boating, paddle boarding (lots of water sports and the Marina is 5 minutes away), trails to hike (you are surrounded by Wasatch mountains), ride ATV's(there are trails within 10 minutes that take you into the mountains) there are places close by to rent some, ride your bike (beautiful areas to ride for all ages), walking or running and of course just sitting on the front porch enjoying the great outdoors. There are parks to enjoy a picnic and play grounds.
Midway is just minutes from our cabin. It is a quaint town of Swedish descendant's which you can see on your drive, bike ride or walk around town. Also located in Midway is a crater where you can swim or scuba dive. It is located on the Homestead property. They have great restaurants and a golf course. Also in Midway is the Zermatt Hotel.

Nice setup with the sleeping rooms off one hallway and the living and kitchen on the other side. Reminded me a bit of a ranch house type of layout, but a log cabin. Kitchen was really big so nice for a good size group like ours. Plenty of seating for eating, and good sleeping quarters. The beds were very comfortable. The bedroom decorations spare, but homey in the kitchen and living room. Seems like an older place, yet has some modern touches. Worked great for us.
This is a perfect place to stay if you are skiing at Soldier Hollow! The house had everything we needed and more. A wonderful place, we would stay again.
Easy to access, beautiful area, friendly hosts. The property was well maintained, other than the trash was full when we arrived. The hosts had everything we needed on site to make our family holiday wonderful.
This is a great cabin for a group. It's spacious and comfortable with easy access to Park City, Sundance, Midway, Heber City, and Deer Creek Reservoir. The hosts are fantastic and very responsive. The cabin is well stocked with games and reading material, and there's a huge TV in the living room for movie night. We loved having three bathrooms (each with a shower) and the washer and dryer were nice to have as well. I would not hesitate to stay here again.
This cabin was the perfect fit for our family to spent the Christmas holiday weekend. The gathering space has 3 big cozy couches surrounding a fireplace and a huge TV with a center table for games, puzzles snacks etc. and a card table off to the side. There was even a Christmas tree set up making it very festive and cozy blankets to wrap up in on the couch! The kitchen has a large island for food prep, serving and sit-up eating and is connected to a nice sit down table for 8. The mudroom/laundry room is large and very handy right off the side porch coming in from the driveway. The rooms are simple yet comfortable and convenient. (I would suggest putting nightstands next to the beds for phones, books, water etc.) Again the bathrooms were simple yet convenient and worked well. The views of the backside of Timp are spectacular off of the front porch and the horses across the street made for an idyllic country setting.
This beautiful, comfortable, spacious, well-stocked home with a mountain view, was exactly what we needed when we visited the Salt Lake City area. There is so much to do in the area too. We did the bobsled at Olympic Park, visited the city, and went snowmobiling in the mountains. It was fantastic.
