Stylish one-bedroom villas. 1.5 blocks from the beautiful Carribean Sea. Nestled in the jungles of the southern Caribbean coast of Costa Rica.
Walking distance to Puerto Viejo de Talamanca in the beautiful neighborhood of Playa Negra.
Enjoy being surrounded by nature without sacrificing comforts. Each villa has AC, dedicated fiber optic, plush queen beds with premium bedding, a mini bar, and safe.
Enjoy a delicious breakfast poolside every morning before walking to the beach.


La Prometida is located in the neighborhood of Playa Negra. We are in a residential area that is about 180 meters from the beach. We have a small grocery store about two blocks away. The Banana Azul hotel is close by as well and they have a full restaurant, beach bar, and lounge chairs on the beach. You can walk to town along the beach or you can catch a taxi or tuktuk on the road.

Amazing in every way!

This was hands down the best experience ive ever had with STRs. The staff and owner were so kind and generous. Woke up to costa rican coffee at the door every morning, the best home cooked CR breakfast with fruit straight from the property. It was a 3 min walk to the beach and 15 min walk to the city. When i come back Im not staying any where else but here.

Pleasant Stay at La Prometida

My boyfriend and I came for a Valentine’s Day getaway. When we got to La Prometida, we were greeted by Erika who was very kind and informational. Erika was very responsive/helpful whenever we needed something. She also recommended restaurants and excursions that we could do while we were there. She also gave us a number to a taxi in case we wanted to get get around. Every morning, they will leave coffee or tea in front of your door. They will also serve you breakfast every morning, which was delicious!! The high ceilings made the room feel open. The rooms/bathrooms were very clean and made your stay feel comfortable. The last two days of our stay, we met the owners who are also polite, friendly, and exceedingly welcoming.
