I was a bit disappointed once we arrived. There is ABSOLUTELY zero internet service! I feel like no cell service should be disclosed before booking because I certainly would not have booked if I had known. However, there is wifi but that's not much help when you need to receive or make actual phone calls. Now if secluded and isolated is what you are looking for this is your cabin. I however need to be able to have cell service somewhat because I have kids to check in on. The property itself was clean BUT the hot tub water was slimy, and the water had a funny smell. I myself have well water and that was not the problem with why it stunk. The cabin didn't feel like homey feel like I usually feel when we rent cabins in TN. The couch was old and uncomfortable and no holiday decor or much decor period. There is no washer and dryer which is ok except I was booked for 3 nights with two people, and we were given 3 towels for the entire stay. I would suggest leave more towels or provide a washer and dryer. The communication was fine, and bed was a king bed also pretty comfortable. I would pass on staying here again in the future.
The cabin was very clean and cozy. I do recommend that you add a note about the stairs for the entranceway. It is a long flight of stairs to get into the cabin so if you are not able to maneuver stairs well this might not be the right cabin. They do have kitchen supplies but there were two of us and there was only one bowl for our salads we made do but pthat might be something to address. for
Cute little cabin outside of town away from the hustle and bustle of the tourist attractions, but yet still close enough you can go back and forth if needed. We spent 4 nights here and enjoyed every minute of it. Property is just like the photos in the listing.
My husband and I stayed here for the weekend was super cute and clean! We loved all the bear decor, the hot tub and big comfy bed! Great bonus that it is located so close to pigeon forge too:)

Nice cabin but poorly equiped
We enjoyed our stay overall - it was a nice retreat! However, the cabin was poorly equipped. There was only one cookie sheet. there were no mixing bowls and it took 3 days for them to deliver one. There were no plastic storage containers at all so we got our own. They also had to bring us a can opener and oven mitts. The internet was terrible. They came to reset it once but it constantly went in and out and would go out in the middle of watching TV.
They dont give you the code till exact time..of course your going to be anxious and when we got there it was so deep inthe hills there wasnt telephone service and I couldnt bring up info ..couldn't bring up a map to get backe closer to town..we drove a few miles all upset and discouraged..finally we were ableto reach your office because we couldnt recieve the code. Ut was OK after that but cabin was a good distance from Pigeon Forge..the free admissions made it worth the other difficulties..saw 2 Bears pass my kitchen window..that I really loved..I would stay there again..but stay in town till we got the code
Beautiful property. Everything was clean and well maintained, location was perfect. A beautiful 20ish minute drive outside pigeon forge we got the best of both worlds. Gorgeous views in nature mixed with the fun attractions of Dollywood and pigeon forge. We had a blast and would definitely recommend.
Papa Bear was the perfect cabin for a weekend getaway. Check in was super easy. We had no electricity in the bedroom, but contacted customer service, had to flip the breaker and it was an easy fix! The smell of the water takes a little getting use to but didnt dampen our spirits any. Would definitely come back and definitely recommend!!
Very clean and nice cabin. We did have to make a call about the air not coming on but they sent out someone right away and the breaker just needed to be flipped. The only suggestion I would make is grout the bathroom floor a lot of it missing. There is very little internet service but overall we had a great time.
Location allowed easy access to the parkway in Pigeon Forge. Enjoyed the view of the green valley from the deck while in the hot tub. Excellant cabin to celebrate our 30th Anniversary with. Would highly recommend.
With every trip there's a give and take between the good and bad. This cabin was a great stay for someone who's looking for a weekend getaway in the mountains. The bed was very comfortable for myself and my pregnant girlfriend. I would like to state that this cabin does not come equipped with a washer or dryer. The cabin provides enough room for two people but no more than that and can seem cramped at times. The cabin is also assumably on "Well Water" based on the distinct smell of the water supply. If you are not expecting this it may be off-putting for those who have not experienced the lake water/sulfur smell of Well Water. Overall this rental is a good deal for the location and amenities.
