Fall get away
We enjoyed our stay at the cabin. We had a family gathering for the week of Thanksgiving. The appliances worked well, all the cooking and baking basics were there. The living area is comfortable and roomy.
The deck has a beautiful view of a stream and it is very pleasant to sit outside, except for the highway noise. Besides the highway, it was very peaceful and quiet. The houses are spread out and private.
The beds were comfortable and everything was clean. The host was very responsive whenever I had a question.
There are a couple things to be aware of. The house sleeps 16, but there was only room for 12 at the dining room tables. The listing has a 5th bedroom with 2 futons, but we did not see a 5th bedroom, just the living room with reclining sofas.
There is no garbage pick-up, and you can't leave garbage outside, so we ended up with quite a pile of bags by the end of the week in the basement that started to smell.
