Baylor Game Getaway

Very Clean home and close enough to Getterman's softball field. Really enjoyed the exclusive enclosed parking that comes with the home. Coffee Bar was amazing. Will definitely be back for our next Baylor adventure.

Terrible

Two hours before we were scheduled to check in I got an email saying my reservation was cancelled. We were out of state and no place to stay. We called and sent messages as to why my reservation was cancelled but never received a response. I would never book with them again.

Disappointed

My mom, sister and I were looking forward to a fun girls weekend. While we were still able to do that our time started out rough. When we arrived at the house we walked through it first. It was very dirty…hair in the beds, the bathroom was obviously not clean(urine on the toilet and hair in the shower) ,and it appeared most of the floors were not swept/mopped. We were able to contact the number given and did get a full refund. But was a damper on the start of our weekend.

We stayed here for my son’s baseball tournament over 3 days. The inside of the duplex was great and had everything we needed for the 6 of us. Please note that it does not include a dishwasher — just bring paper goods to make things easier! The host has fun games included and left us a nice snack basket which my teen boys devoured of course! The only con was that the neighborhood seems to be a bit transitional —there were some really beautiful homes, but there were also some spots that did not seem safe either. The nice thing was that you can park 2 cars within the property’s back locked large fenced area. Note that if you bring a dog that there are a couple of big gaps under the fence where a dog would be able to get out, so plan on leeping an eye on them. All in all a great and comfortable stay…I just wish the neighborhood had felt a little safer to go walking around in is all…but we still had a great time!

Didn’t Get to Stay

We didn’t get to stay because of a burst pipe. That is not the host’s fault. I understand that could not be helped. However I received NO communication from the host. I should’ve been notified immediately when the pipe burst. Guests depend on the reservations they make and it is incumbent upon the host to make sure the guest is taken care of as efficiently as possible. On the morning we were supposed to check in I had received no communication about how to access the home. And I had no communication about a water pipe busting. I had to call VRBO 2 times after 3 calls to the host went unanswered. Two hours prior to check in I received a message from VRBO that my reservation had been cancelled. In that message was a note from the host “ Water pipe has burst, waiting for the city to fix it”. That’s it. The host couldn’t even be bothered to type a complete sentence to tell me why I didn’t have a place to stay. There was no apology of any kind. This was the most unprofessional and unacceptable experience I’ve ever had with short term rental. I will and you should definitely avoid this host going forward.

Magnolia experience weekend

We were within 10 minutes of everything, my daughters & I enjoyed our stay. The house was very clean. They had everything we needed. There was a really nice little coffee bar set up, but sadly the coffee maker didn’t work.
