Loved the location and farmer’s market right out front. The kitchen had all of the items needed to make dinner, and there were many coffee shops and a bookstore nearby. This was a great experience!
Right in the center of swinging Elwood Village. Plenty of restaurants and bars nearby. As well as the Albright Knox gallery, Delaware Park and museums.
My husband and I stayed here while visiting Buffalo for my cousins wedding. The unit was so cozy, beds were VERY comfortable. AC units cooled the place down. Lots of charm in the building and such a great location. Highly recommend if you want an easy, quiet stay in Elmwood!
Went to Bills/Niners game for Sunday Night football 12/1. Stayed at this cute Victorian apartment. Check in was easy. When getting into apartment noticed it was cold. The only radiator working was in kitchen. Noticed space heater which worked well. Tried contacting owner but never got a response. Only other suggestion is more outlets and possibly bedside tables. Otherwise was cozy and enjoyable!!
Love the location, and Nick is super responsive to any problems/questions/concerns. Have stayed here two times. You are in the heart of Elmwood Village. Best location for enjoying Buffalo.
Adorable third floor apartment! Would definitely stay here again!!

Accomodations were roomy and comfortable, although the slanted 3d story ceilings made moving about in the bedrooms a bit difficult. Stair climbing to third floor was O.K for my wife and I, but might trouble some older folks.
the Elmwood Village neighborhood is vibrant and close to Buffalo's major art museum and Art Center. The property is located on a small triangular block enclosed by three rather busy streets, so some traffic noise was inevitable during sleeping hours.
This is a cute little place in a fabulous neighborhood in walking distance from shops, bars, restaurants, and groceries. We had a few small issues figuring out how to get into the unit, operating the furnace and TV, etc., but those are probably old-person operator error 🙄. The unit was clean, comfortable, and felt like home.

Elmwood Village
Great location. Many great places to grab a bite to eat. Street parking was very easy. The third floor walk up would be hard for some guests. The kitchen sink was not clean at all nor were the utensils, and there was dried lettuce in the sponge holder from a previous guest. There was no sponge to clean the sink or utensils with and not enough paper towels to try to use instead.
The biggest issue was the heat was not work throughout the apartment. The kitchen had the only radiator working. The 2 bedrooms both had space heaters, but the bathroom was 59 degrees as was the living
room, and there was no heater in the living room. I reached out to the owner who had me move one of the bedroom heaters to the bathroom, which was fine for us because we only used 1 bedroom. That would not have worked if we needed both bedrooms. I think the owner should have been clear about the heating situation.
I would have brought another heater. Unfortunately, being cold inside the apartment put a real damper on the weekend.
Enjoyable. My grandson had his own bedroom and I think he would have stayed here indefinitely. We had access to all the places we wanted to go. Cozy apartments.
Can't say enough about the wonderful stay my husband and I had for 5 days over Thanksgiving at this great property. Wonderful location right off Elmwood, really cool, spacious well decorated place. Bedrooms were very spacious and beds were super comfortable. Nick couldn't have been more accommodating or gracious as a host. Hope to stay again, soon.
Pros:
Cozy and clean. Full amenities. Great location.
Darling apartment. We loved it.
Cons:
Climbing 3 flights of stairs may be challenging for some. Check in/ check out directions were not provided.
Thanks Nick!
This was a wonderful place to stay for our Buffalo area adventures. Clean and well kept and super close to many amenities. Beds were clean and comfy and kitchen was a great plus. Would for sure stay here again
Nick was extremely friendly and responsive throughout my stay and was sure to address any concerns promptly. The location was great, in the heart of Elmwood Village. Was able to walk to great restaurants, Farmer’s Market, Shakespeare in the Park, etc. Nick offerred some great restaurant recommendations as well.
I would have appreciated some upfront instructions on things like garbage disposal, laundry, etc. It took me awhile to realize I had access to a shared laundry room, for example. But Nick responded nearly immediately when I texted him about these things.
The apartment itself is old, with some warping of the wood floors, low ceilings in some areas, and while I was there, I could not run the AC in both bedrooms without tripping the circuit breaker. This is an electrical issue that I believe is being addressed soon.
There is no dishwasher, and no dish rack. Other than that, the apartment was reasonably well equipped.
Couldn’t ask for a better location in Elmwood Village! The unit is on the top floor and had plenty of space for my brother and myself. Owner was great and very responsive to our msgs.
