I would definitely stay again at this property. Location was perfect for Bar Harbor and Acadia. Everything was as described and communication was excellent with the property manager. We loved how quiet it was and we had everything we needed. We will be back!
Great Location between Acadia and Bar Harbor downtown
Great place to stay for our annual girls trip (50+). We loved the location and the house literally has anything you could want/need already stocked. We enjoyed it very much and loved that we were within walking distance to the park or downtown,
The Chickadee was minutes away from Acadia, which made it possible for us to visit the park multiple times a day and maximize the number of sights we could see. It was also very conveniently located close to Bar Harbor - so we could easily access the grocery store, bike rentals, restaurants etc.
The property itself was very clean and neat, and was in a very quiet neighborhood. The kitchen was well stocked and carried everything we needed for a few days stay. The primary bedroom was spacious although the full beds in the 2 additional rooms were a little tight for 2 adults to share. Overall, we had a great trip, a very convenient stay and would definitely recommend and come back!
Well located (20-30 minutes walk from downtown Bar Harbo), very clean, with everything you could need for a great stay and enjoy Acadia National Park.
Highly recommended!!!
You could easily walk to Bar Harbor or take a five minute drive to downtown. The carriage roads are a short distance away.
The house was well laid out, quiet, and clean. Very comfortable. The host was very easy to communicate with and very responsive.
Great location! Very close to Acadia National Park and Bar Harbor! Condo was very nice and had plenty of space for our family.
I would definitely recommend.
This property is in a quiet neighborhood between Bar Harbor and Acadia. It’s a 15-20 minute walk to shops, restaurants, and attractions in Bar Harbor, and Park Loop Rd is just up the street when you want to visit Acadia. The condo offered everything we needed to feel comfortable during our stay.
This is a home, not just a house. All the little things that you normally have to bring with you, or buy once you arrive were already there. Extra pillows, blankets, dish detergent, laundry detergent, kitchen staples. You name it, it was there. Home was clean, and the beds were very comfortable. It was in a little neighborhood that was very quiet, minutes from Acadia and downtown Bar Harbor. We walked from the house to Bar Harbor several times. It was .7 miles from the house to the farther-est end of the pier. The living room suit appears to be new, and offers seating for 6. Each bedroom has its own split ac/vac unit which was great as we all don’t like the same temperature at night. Also, lots of brochures, magazines, and books about the area and Acadia. Also, we had no issues communicating with the owner. Over all a great experience!
We have only positive comments. The home fit our family well and supplied everything we needed. So close to everywhere we wanted to go. Absolutely loved the area! Acadia was a stone’s throw away and we enjoyed an audio guided drive on the loop road. Every meal we had in Bar Harbor was delicious! Galyn’s was a favorite restaurant and Cafe this Way was yummy also!
The property is located close to bar harbor and Acadia national park. The one downfall was the living room furniture. The coach needs replaced it is very worn and hard. Limited seating if you have more than 4 people!
We had the best time here!! It was amazing to be able to bike directly from the Condo and be in the park on the carriage roads in about 1 minute. It was also the perfect location to check out downtown Bar Harbor! We had a blast and hope to be back again.
This property was the perfect home base to explore Bar Harbor and Acadia NP. It was clean, comfortable, attractive and stocked with almost every amenity you could need. The host was friendly and helpful via email. The location was perfect, in a quiet woodsy setting but close enough to bike to the center of town. I would absolutely stay again.
