Time to reset, relax and unwind your mind high on the mountains overlooking GA, TN, and NC at License to Chill 2.

This 3 bedroom, 3 bath cabin is designed with comfort and function with two master suites on the main floor, a large game room and another large queen room on the lower level. Be prepared for mind blowing views, wildlife visits, and mountain beauty beyond your wildest dreams. Located in a gated community near two of our other properties,  Grand Bluff Retreat and Mountain High Lodge, this property is perfect for large families looking for their own privacy but still near other family members only a short drive or even a brisk hike away.

As you enter License 2 Chill, you are greeted with an open floor plan including kitchen, dining and living area with an entry to a screened deck overlooking a breathtaking mountain top view of three states. A hot tub is located to the left and a gas grill to the right. Two king master suites on each side, one with a garden tub and a stand -up shower and the other with a shower/tub combo.

Make your way to the lower level where you will find a huge game room with pool table and arcade games. Another king master suite can be found with a full bath including a shower/tub combo. With plenty of outdoor seating, this is the perfect entertaining cabin for family and friends.

Wonderful stay

Beautiful Views and Privacy

This is a beautiful cabin with all of the amenities. It felt quiet & secluded even though it's located in a gated community. The view from the deck is stunning! The kitchen is well appointed with better than average selection of nicer dishes, pots & pans, etc... We appreciated that basic supplies like shampoo, laundry pods, etc... were provided. The bed in the main bedroom is quite firm. If we were staying more than a few nights, I'd pick up a mattress topper. (That's not a criticism- just an FYI if you like a softer mattress.) Overall, it's a wonderful place to stay and would highly recommend it to others.

Southern Comfort Cabin Rentals

This particular cabin became unexpectedly unavailable a few days before our trip. The folks at Southern Comfort Cabin Rentals came through with alternative choices for our original trip timeline. In the end we stayed at the Great Escape and had an outstanding stay and trip.

We enjoyed our stay at the property- especially the hot tub and being able to have our dog with us. Only complaint is that the kitchen could use a few more cooking tools (cutting boards, decent cooking pots). Also, the master bdrm mattress was uncomfortable for us, as well as the pillows. We survived the week after going to TJ Maxx to get some pillows/pillow cases. A maintenance call is needed on the dryer as it takes a couple of hours to dry a small load of clothes. We just washed only as necessary. Otherwise, it was a nice stay.

Nice clean cabin

Great little cabin to rent! Easy driveway to get in and out (some other cabins on this mountain have harder and steep driveways to get in and out of). Good size master bathroom and bedroom. Great views of the mountains, hot tub was great (some of the jets didn’t work, but least the heat worked). Front door frame on the bottom of the frame was kinda getting stuck when opening the door making a loud noise doing so. Down stairs was cool with the arcades (only one worked). The ceilings had the AC air ducks showing in the basement (didn’t bother us.) Some of the appliance’s were outdated (didn’t both us, might for some). Overall a nice good clean cabin to rent!

Gorgeous view and well provisioned

Easy to cook (all the necessary utensils and plenty of them). A few of the jets on the hot tub didn't work, but it held temperature wonderfully for how cold it was outside, and the view from the hot tub was spectacular! The heating works well, but the comforters are thin so bring extra blankets if you sleep cold!
