Great location in Lucerne

The neighborhood is very peaceful yet close enough to walk to all the city has to offer. After a long day being able to take the 9 bus to within 100m of our place was so convenient. Highly recommend for a couple. It is a large studio as no wall separating the bedroom area.

Perfect get away spot!

The flat was wonderful, and the best part was sitting on the balcony in the morning with coffee, and in the evening with a glass of wine. Peter was a wonderful host and communicated well with me. I felt secluded for peace and comfort, but also not too far from the action because it was a short walk or easy bus ride from the train station. Lucky me to base here for 10 days of Switzerland!

Wonderful apartment

Great location just outside the old city walls. Easy to use the city bus (complimentary with the visitor card) from the central railway station which is at least every 1/2 hour and stops not even 5 minutes from the apartment. Alternatively 10 minute walk downhill into the old town. Easy communication with the owner - not so good the company you go through. Very comfortable, bright and fully furnished including the kitchen should you wish to cook. Large balcony with view was delightful for evenings. Highly recommend.

Wonderful stay in Lucerne

Our hosts were great. Answered questions/ helped us and also gave us our privacy. The unit is even nicer than the pictures with a patio that has beautiful mountain and old fort wall view. Quiet, comfortable. The # 9 bus takes you up the hill, runs every 30 minutes and stops 100 yards/90 meters from the house and takes about 10 minutes from train station downtown. Highly recommend. I would stay here again. E-Domizil is used as booking agent, fyi. And, be a little patient about initial correspondence from owner. After that communication was excellent and helpful. We loved it

Schöne Ferienwohnung

Sehr schöne Ferienwohnung mit fantastischen Blick vom Balkon. Es hat an nichts gefehlt in der Wohnung. Das einzige negative ist die Parkplatz suche am Abend.

Stadtnah aber ruhig

Die Lage der FeWo ermöglicht eine gute Erholung und gleichzeitig kurze Wege in die wunderschöne Stadt. Einkaufsmöglichkeiten befinden sich in direkter Nähe. Die Wohnung ist einfach aber gemütlich möbliert. Die Technik, WLAN etc. funktioniert. Die Eigemtümer sind nett und hilfsbereit.

Wonderful apartment

I almost didn’t want to write this review and let the secret out but Peter’s apartment was an great hidden gem. The location can’t be beat - there is a beautiful view of the mountains, the old town wall, and even part of the lake from the balcony. It’s in a very quiet little neighborhood and just a short walk from the old town. The apartment itself had a nice big bathroom (hard to find in Europe) and a kitchen that allowed us to make breakfast and lunch a couple days. It was a great home base after a long day of exploring. The only small suggestion I would have is to provide a fan for sleeping at night; it can get a little stuffy and we didn’t want to let bugs in (we were there in September).
