February Break Ski Trip

We were a group of 13 - 3 families - 6 adults and 7 kids (ages 8 - 14) who visited for a ski vacation. The location of the house is ideal, with only a 5-minute drive to Killington ski resort. There were plenty of restaurants, stores, and groceries within minutes as well. (I highly recommend the Foundry for dinner). We loved the basement bar which had a mini fridge and ice maker, and the pool table. The hot tub was so clean - the owners provided flip-flops to walk out in the snow and extra towels. Most importantly, the house was CLEAN. We've stayed in a lot of rentals where houses are surface clean, but when living there you realize they really are dirty. Not this house! We never felt grossed out by anything during our 5-night stay. The house was not cluttered and all of the closets/drawers were empty for guests to use. The house is spacious for each family to have dedicated space and bathrooms. Mimi was helpful, easy to deal with, and provided answers to all of our questions in advance of our stay. The property manager was very responsive. There was a big snowstorm during our stay (2 feet) and we needed the plow to come asap so we could get out, which she made happen. We had a wonderful stay and would love to return to this property again. Highly recommend it to anyone looking to rent. Thank you!

Friends and family ski Getaway

This home was absolutely beautiful. Great location as well. We had a group of 11 friends and family who have skied together, some for over 40 years. Even a 7 year old. It was perfect! Everyone had their own space, we could all dine together, hang out together, or not. It was perfect. We highly recommend

Fantastic house in a great location

This house was perfect for our group of twelve. We were three families with kids ranging in ages from 6-14yrs old. There was enough space for everyone to relax after a day of skiing. The kitchen was very well stocked and had everything we needed. The ski hill is only a 5 mins drive. We would definitely stay here again

Everything you need for a great ski trip

Lovely property with all the amenities- sauna, hot tub, fireplace, etc. We did have to drive to the mountain but it was very close and not an issue. Would book again without hesitation. 5 stars

Everything was great. The only issue we had was the ice makers were not working. The only other negative thing worth mentioning was we expected there to be plenty of paper towels or napkins There weren’t any which is fine, but it might be worth mentioning in the listing that they aren’t provided

This house was amazing! Plenty of room for everyone in our group (12 Adults). Location is awesome, close to all the restaurants and the mountain for skiing. Definitely would love to stay here again!!

Wonderful Venue

Tough to find a better place to host your family or friends for some fun in the Killington area. This was the 34th year of a guys ski trip and this house with all its amenities ( pool table, pin ball machine, hot tub, gas grille, etc. etc.) is as good as we have ever had. As expected the owners are a class act, promptly answering any questions we had and leaving a thoughtful welcome note with a bottle of wine and snacks. Multiple attendees commented that they would like to return with their families. Hope we can rent it again!

Perfect getaway!

The house is even more spacious than it looks and is incredibly well stocked. MountainView has it all! We had the best weekend and were so grateful for Heidi’s warm welcome and communication throughout the trip. We would absolutely rent this home again, and likely will in order to go for a new pinball high score :)

Perfect location and space for your upcoming trip!

We loved our recent stay at Mountainview! The location was perfect for skiing and snowboarding and the home was perfectly situated and had so many different and fun spaces for everyone to enjoy from our group! The kids loved the pinball machine and pool table and the bar area downstairs was fantastic! Looking forward to another stay when we return to VT!

Mountain View Review

We were a group of three families related by blood and marriage. Property was the best ski rental house we have ever done. Fully equipped and no issues whatsoever. Game room, hot tub and sauna add to a great ski experience. Layout was great allowing private time for individuals and family units and great group spaces for making and eating meals together, games and watching football at night. We highly recommend this property.

MountainView is the ultimate rental home!

Our experience from start to finish at MoutainView was above and beyond expectations! Upon our arrival lights are on and music is playing, so welcoming and inviting. Usually, we are in the dark fumbling with our phones trying to enter our rental house. This house is SUPER clean and has a great layout. It is well and better-stocked than any other rental home we have stayed in. The kitchen is a dream, everything you would need and more. Our 3 families, a total of 12, were there for a ski weekend. The house is just minutes away from Killington Mountain. The hot tub and sauna are top notch and were just the thing for all the (especially adult) tired and sore muscles after a day of skiing. The pool table and pinball machine provided hours of entertainment and competition for everyone. Also the beds are all comfy so EVERYONE got a good nights sleep. Finally Heide, the property manager, is WONDERFUL! Heidi was available to answer any questions we had and she responded promptly. Heidi made it clear that if we needed anything she was there for us. Our entire group would like to thank Mimi and Gian for all they have done for us! Your home is amazing! We cannot thank you enough for making this booking so seamless for us. Thank you again and we look forward to our next trip to MountainView!!
