Rügen's youngest seaside resort invites you

Welcome to our residence Galeriea in the state-approved seaside resort Altefähr, approx. 800 m to the bathing beach and to the sailing and surfing school (shortest bathing beach approx. 300 m) There are small cliffs, natural beaches and sandy bays for sunbathing and swimming. The attraction with games and sports is just for almost 2 million EUR modernized new sandy beach, the only one on the island of Rügen with southern exposure (in the high season the Bader DLRG are monitored so that nothing happens while bathing). You can also rent and fish boats in the harbor. Our place is definitely on one of the most beautiful sailing and fishing areas in Germany. Altefähr offers a pretty beach promenade (and also a wooden beach promenade directly past the water), several good restaurants and a picturesque view of the silhouette of Stralsund. You can rent beach chairs in the beach house. Volleyball court and children's playground on the beach, historic houses and bike paths past beaches and fields are some more highlights. Furthermore, the old fishing and ferry destination has excellent transport links (water and land) for all kinds of excursions.


Residenz Galeriea is an extension to our "old smithy". Here is a living room, a fitted kitchen, a bathroom with shower and the two bedrooms are on a second level (= gallery level):
A double bed in the first bedroom and in a separate room 2 single beds (extra bed for a 5th Pers. possible). The apartment has been completely modernized, so that in addition to a new kitchen, new furniture, specially made built-in wardrobe, etc., a new insulating roof has now also created a spacious room on the gallery level. Our residence Galeriea is a cozy, rustic domicile with a beautiful beamed ceiling and can be heated with a fireplace even in the cold season.

Important note: In "high season 1" from the beginning of July to the beginning of September, the day of departure must be a Saturday (otherwise we cannot confirm your booking). In the other seasons, every weekday can be the day of departure. For certain seasons there is a minimum stay of 3 to 7 nights in "high season 1".

Klein, aber vollkommen ausreichend. Die kleine Wohnung ist zweckmäßig eingerichtet. Alles da, was man braucht. Die kleine Terrasse ist optimal, um dort in der Sonne zu essen. Jederzeit gern wieder.

Sehr ruhige Lage aber leider mit Mängeln
Wir haben den Aufenthalt genossen, leider mit einigen Mängeln. 1. Die Treppe nach oben knarrte dermaßen laut, wenn man mal Nachts zur Toilette musste wurden alle wach. 2. Der Türgriff im Zimmer oben war plötzlich ab und die Person darin konnte nicht mehr alleine raus. 3. Einige Schränke hatten lose Schrauben und fielen fast auseinander. 4. Wlan war sehr gut und vorhanden, allerdings fehlten einige Steckdosen zum betreiben z.B. eines Laptops oder zum laden von Handy`s. 5. Was nun da Umfeld betrifft konnte man sehr gut Essen gehen, außer Mittwochs denn da war alles geschlossen. Im großen Ganzen war der Ort sehr gepflegt und ruhig.

Die Wohnung ist gross, aber nicht barrierefrei, der zu überwindende Flur ist echt heikel. Leider fehlt in der Küche ein Backofen und die 2 Herdplatten sind für eine Familie zu wenig. Der Toaster hat auch nicht seine Grillfunktion durchgehalten, in der Mikrowelle funktionierte die Grillfunktion nicht, sodas wir morgens keine Brötchen aufbacken/toasten konnten, was echt gestört hat. Zwei Lampen funktionierten nicht, daß sollte vor Anreise gecheckt werden. Informationen über die Insel und Mikrowellenanleitung haben wir am letzten Tag in der untersten Schublade gefunden.. Schade. Ansonsten ist die Wohnung schön groß und einladend. Mandy Schulz

Winterurlaub auf Rügen
Die Unterkunft hat uns gut gefallen, individuell, sauber und in der Küche alles Nötige vorhanden. Ich hätte mir allerdings gewünscht, dass aus dem Inserat genauer hervorgeht, dass es außer dem Kamin keine zusätzliche Heizung gibt. Bei der Kälte war es schon eine Herausforderung die Räume warm zu halten. Außerdem wären zusätzliche Decken für die Nacht sehr hilfreich., da es gegen morgen dann doch auch sehr schnell abkühlt, wenn der Kamin dann ausgeht. Aber alles in allem hat es uns sehr gut gefallen. Gerne wieder.

Sehr schönes und gemütliches Ferienhaus, sehr nette Vermieter und gepflegtes Grundstück mit Garten
Wir waren sehr zufrieden. Zu dem im zusammenfassenden Text gerade Beschriebenen hat uns auch der Standort sehr gut gefallen. Die anderen Standen im Stau und wir haben Altefähr über den Rügendamm ohne jegliche Stauzeit erreicht. Das selbe galt auch für unseren zahlreichen Ausflüge ins beeindruckende Umland (Stralsund, Fischland, Darß usw.) oder auf die Insel. Der Ort an sich ist sehr gemütlich mit einem breiten Sandstrand und einem schönen Hafen mit atemberaubenden Ausblick. Auch die Cafes und Restaurants am Hafen und Strand sind sehr zu empfehlen. Uns hat es einmalig gefallen. Wir kommen wieder. So schnell wie möglich - versprochen!!!

Unsere Erwartungen von Haus und Standort wurden übertroffen
Ein ganz besonders schönes und positiv individuelles Ferienhaus mit Terrasse und Garten. Alles sehr ordentlich und liebevoll. Unten befindet sich das geräumige Bad, das Eßzimmer und die Küche. Oben ist ein gat großes Schlafzimmer mit Sitzecke und ein zweites, kleineres Schlafzimmer. Das Haus und der Stadort hat unsere Erwartungen übertroffen.
