About this property

Walking into DeerPathCrossing is like walking into VACATION!
We are on the more relaxed side of the lake, NorthLakeDrive, which is walking distance to all restaurants on the south end (Piggy's, Nick's Lake House, Shenanigan's etc)
Enter into the main living space with stone wood burning fireplace, true gentlemen leather seating area and wood work at it finest.
The front enclosed porch houses the bar, Harvard foosball table, darts and large table for games and socializing. Louvred glass windows will give you the best breeze in the warm months, with newly installed Heat/AC in this room to keep you as comfortable as possible!

Serve your favorite wine out of the wine bar station in the kitchen, complete with wine refrigerator, and electric bottle opener. If you prefer a great cup of Joe, you have your choice of French Press or make a hot or cold specialty coffee on the Ninja set.

After a day hiking or on the slopes, hit the Hot Tub!! Dry your boots/shoes in our AlpenHeat warmer/dryer, jump in the shower and enjoy the towel warmer as you get refreshed for your evening plans.

Summer rentals will have Central Air to keep you as comfy as can be, tons of yard games like can-jam, ladder toss, cornhole, beer pong etc.
While we do not have direct lake access, there's plent of fun to be had with paddleboard, kayak, waterski, tubing and pontoon rentals!

Cozy cabin

The property was clean &cozy, with modern bathrooms. We had 4 adults and 6 children. There was plenty of room. The weather was not on our side for skiing but very close to Big Boulder. We had fun in the game room and hot tub. Piggies was great for breakfast. Thanks for a perfect little place!

Great Property

The place was clean and cozy. Hot tub was very nice. We got some snow and it was nice to have salt and shovels for our use. Very close to JFBB.

Holiday at Harmony

Rustic feel with luxury, modern bathrooms. The bedrooms were spacious with very comfortable beds for everyone in our large group. We easily prepared multiple meals in the the cozy kitchen. We built a fire each night and had lots of fun with darts and foosball challenges. The location was perfect, with walks to Piggy's and Terra Cottage (great food and shopping). In addition, Amy was prompt, pleasant and very helpful.

A Perfect White Christmas Getaway

We had a lovely time at this charming property with our 4 adult children and two dogs. The house is well equipped and was decorated for the Christmas holiday. We loved the wood burning fireplace and the drainboard sink in the kitchen. We walked to Shenanigans, Piggies, Terra Cottage, and Nick's. Christmas Eve was capped off by a soak in the hot tub where we were joined by 3 deer who wandered into the yard! Communication with the property manager was great. We would definitely visit again.

Cozy!

My family enjoyed our stay very much over Thanksgiving! The property was just as listed! Very cute and the owner was quick to respond to any questions. We saw deer in the yard every afternoon and loved the hot tub at night! The new bathrooms are beautiful and the towel warmers were an added bonus! Loved the location.. so fun to walk around the neighborhood and also breakfast at Piggie's is a must! We would definitely rent again!

Great Stay at Lake Harmony!

We had a wonderful visit! The house was well appointed and comfortable -- We spent hours at the lake and playing foosball. A doe and her babies joined us outside every night for dinner! The beds were comfortable and the bathrooms were very updated -- Communication with Amy was easy. We made great family memories!

Great holiday home base

We enjoyed our stay at Lake Harmony. The house is very close to local restaurants that are open even in Winter. Location was ideal For day trips to Jack Frost and tubing at Big Boulder and even hikes at Hickory Run State Park. Amy was extremely responsive and even had someone come out Saturday of NYE weekend to fix an issue for us. Highly recommend.

Perfect Family Getaway

We rented this property as a mountain getaway for a family Thanksgiving getaway. We wanted to bring the family dog with us so this was the perfect location for us. The kitchen was completely stocked which made cooking meals very easy. The property is very centrally located so we could walk to several bars and restaurants nearby. We really enjoyed our stay and could not be happier with our decision to spend Thanksgiving here.

Great Home for Family Gathering

We truly enjoyed this home. Lots of space to spread out. Kitchen has most things you will need. Laundry was added benefit so we could wash kids’ clothes. Driveway was a bit icy, but owner provided shovel and de-ice, which we used. 15 mins from Jack Frost. Small amount of firewood was provided, which we did not use due to toddler. Owner was fabulous with communication!!

Nice cabin with frequent wildlife visits

Very clean and well-appointed. Kitchen nicely stocked. Access to the lake as a little more difficult than anticipated, but otherwise a very nice stay. Bathrooms brand new. Appreciate the kayak and two paddle boards available for use. Deer Crossing is a great name--as there were multiple visits from deer daily!

A wonderful experience!

The house was beautiful, and everything it was described as being. The lake was a little rowdier and more party-oriented than we expected but that's not the property's problem. We would absolutely stay here again!

Have to include this funny story on the family who owns this home. The husband woke up one day and bought a boat...having NOWHERE to put it. As luck had it, a friend recommended Lake Harmony, which led them to finding Deer Path Crossing in 2013. They've enjoyed the heck out of the home, raising their young son in the Lake Life way. Now we are fortunate to have this home as a vacation destination listing and look forward to helping other families and friends create great memories!

Why they chose this property

This house offers all of the comfort, fun and character of Lake Harmony. Located on the north side of the lake, the front of the home receives sunshine all afternoon. The rear of the home has a large yard where the fire stove is located. In the spring, summer and fall it offers additional parking in the back by accessing the unpaved driveway from a paper street. There is plenty of bedrooms for everyone to have space and privacy

What makes this property unique

Gorgeous wood stairs really set off the main living space, and real wood plank floors make this home really feel genuine to the area.
