We've recently moved and decided to keep our lake home for others to enjoy!

Visit this beautiful lakefront cottage for year round family enjoyment! With 75' of private lake front - this is a little slice of heaven. If you enjoy kayaking, fishing (both ice and open water), sturgeon spearing, EAA Air Venture, morning coffee and beautiful sunrises, this is the vacation home for you!

This lakeside home features four bedrooms, comfortably sleeping 9 adults. Our newly remodeled kitchen offers all the amenities of home. Two full bathrooms accommodate the entire family.

Located less than 20 miles from the EAA grounds, the Outlet Mall, Lakeside Park, and many wonderful restaurants, breweries, and area attractions!

With owners who live nearby, if we can help make your vacation more memorable, we're here for it!

Perfect house for our Needs

This was the perfect house for the size of our family (7 adults). The lakefront location is beautiful. Check-in and checkout was very easy and owners were very prompt and professional in their communication. When we arrived, there was a non functioning appliance, and owner was able to get it replaced by the next morning. Very pleasant experience.

Packers Game

Great property and perfect for the family; the sunrises over the lake are breathtaking. Owners are close by and so easy to work with. We are returning customers and will continue to book this property on our Packers' game trips!!

Superb!

We were a group of five longtime female friends who got together here for our annual knitting retreat. Such a lovely venue. It perfectly fitted and fulfilled our needs. Located at the southern end of lake Winnebago. It has a large deck where we watched the sun rise and the moon set over the lake. Photographic moments for certain! We will return again next year for this event!!! Kudos to the neighboring hosts!

Perfect!

We attended the home opener for the Packers. This place is about an hour north but it’s absolutely perfect! The pictures are exactly right. The house has everything you need. There is plenty of space for everyone. The yard is immaculately manicured. We had a fabulous time!!

Relaxing Lake House Getaway

This was our second year staying at this property and we were very impressed again. We thoroughly enjoyed the lake views, sunrises, kayaking, fishing and relaxing by the fire pit. The house was very clean and has all the amenities that you need. The hosts are very responsive and friendly. We look forward to making this lake house a yearly tradition for our family.

Wonderful place. Great for little kids.

We stayed here with another family and our combined kids and it was wonderful. The beach is great for littles, they can walk in and it doesn’t get too deep. They also have a sand area to play in and build sand castles. My kids are already asking when we’re going back. The place has everything you need and the owners were really nice and super responsive. Thank you for great vacation.

Idyllic view with plenty of room for 9 of us!

We loved playing in the yard and kayaking. Many games to play. Loved the deck and sitting outside. The huge trees gave us shade that our fair skin appreciated. The main living area was spacious, open and beautiful. My grandson loved the basketball! Thanks for sharing your place.

Perfect!

My family had a wonderful stay at this property. Great location right on the lake, close to boat launches, parks, and grocery store. Pictures shown are accurate. Spacious, comfortable, and clean home with windows all around to enjoy the view from all angles. Bathrooms stocked with plenty of towels and the kitchen had the necessary items. Kayaks provided were awesome with easy access to the lake. Owners were very nice and quickly responded to any questions. I would definitely recommend this home.

June Fond du Lac VACA

This is our second year renting this property and again, we were not disappointed. The property was clean and tidy with lots of extras we were able to enjoy. Jim and Sarah made sure we didn't want for anything. After arriving home we are all checking our calandars for next year in the hopes we can make it year #3 for our visit!

Wonderful place for a getaway!

Everything was perfect about this property! The communication beforehand with Sarah, the house, the lake, the views, the close proximity to town. EVERYTHING! The house was spotless and had everything we needed. We really enjoyed the kayak’s and the large yard to play football in. The boys played basketball in the driveway and fished from the dock. Even though they didn’t catch anything they still had fun!! Jim and Sarah live next door and were available if we needed anything. But did not encroach on us whatsoever. It truly was a great place to stay. And if we find ourselves back in the area again, we will rent this property.

Relaxing cottage on the lake

Our immediate family gets together for a long weekend getaway every year. We enjoy fishing and kayaking and campfires. This place had it all, and the weather was perfect. We are talking about next year what date next year. The hosts were very quick to respond to every question. And they maintain the property perfectly.

Relaxing Labor Day Weekend

This was an outstanding cottage. Upon arrival our first stop was to view the beautiful lake. The sunrises were simply amazingly beautiful and with the great weather was able to photograph the sunrises each morning. The house was so organized and well equipped for every need right down to the outstanding amenities such as basketball, yard games, sandy beach/beach pad and not to forget the 4 kayaks/ life jackets as it was also nice to have the hose there to rinse off the kayaks. We fished off the pier everyday and used both the fire pits with natural wood as well as the gas fire pit. Spacious room in the cottage with a large living area and kitchen. There are many windows that frame the beauty of the lake as if one is viewing a photograph. The bedrooms are also spacious and again well thought out down to the night stands in each room equipped with outlets/usb ports. The owners have thought of your every need and more. Restaurants are conveniently close by. We have stayed in many other VRBOs but this one stands out as the best one yet. We will definitely return. Thank you to the owners we had a wonderful time spent with family at the cozy cottage.

In the summertime, we enjoy kayaking, fishing, and all of the joys a waterfront property has to offer. In the wintertime our area is perfect for snowmobiling and ice fishing. This property has been a dream of ours!

The Cozy Cottage can be a fun place to take your family for outdoor fun on the water, but it can also be a quiet and quaint respite for relaxation. We've had guests enjoy the lawn games and all that the lake has to offer, and others who prefer chilling out on the patio with a warm (or cold!) beverage.
