▪️ EV Charging: Feel free to charge your car on NON-PEAK hours only (11 pm-7 am), and we will just charge you whatever kilowatt hrs you use. PEAK HOURS will be the Kwt time plus a $30 fee per use

🚙TRANSPORTATION
▪️ Need a rental car? Choose from our lovely fleet of rental vehicles and save the hassle of the rental agencies.
▪️ Buses, Ubers, and Lyfts abound nearby!

🐾 PET POLICY
▪️ Well-behaved pets are welcome! $10 per pet, per night for stays up to 7 days (ask about our long stay discounts). We love pets, but please keep them off the beds, comforters and sofas. Extra cleaning fee will be added if we need to deep clean these areas, or stained/chewed up towels, bedding, carpets, etc.

🛡️ SAFETY & SECURITY
▪️ For the safety and security of our guests and neighbors, the exterior of the home is monitored 24/7 by video/audio. Decibel level monitoring and occupancy sensors are enabled at this property. Any attempts at tampering with security devices or blocking /unplugging wifi will result in additional fees.

📝 IMPORTANT DETAILS
▪️ Charming Historic Home – With its vintage character, the house includes stairs both inside and out, best suited for guests who are comfortable with them.

🏠 Guests have access to the whole house, decks, carport, and laundry area. Every once in a while, we may ask to leave the carport open to charge our Tesla for a night. But street parking is plentiful and safe. No restrictions.

📞 I am right next door and can help with anything that's needed, 24/7, only a phone call or message away. I love to meet my guests in person if possible, and show them around my beautiful home.

📍 Location! Location! Location! This is an amazing neighborhood, tucked away, quiet and safe, yet right near a freeway entrance. Easily walkable to University Ave, Scripps Mercy, UCSD Medical, all the Hillcrest nightlife, eateries, and breweries, very easy to bike around quickly as well.
▪️ 5 minutes to Downtown, Little Italy, Gaslamp Quarter, Balboa Park, Petco Stadium, San Diego Zoo, and USD. Walk to Trader Joe's in 5 minutes, across the charming footbridge on our block!
▪️ 10 minutes to Sea World, Ocean Beach, Mission Beach, and PB
▪️ 15 minutes to La Jolla Cove, UCSD, etc.

📝OTHER THINGS TO NOTE
▪️ Stairs and terraces abound (please supervise children and always use provided handrails).
▪️ Gardeners clean the yard every other Friday at 9 am
▪️ Please put Trash/Recycling out on the curb on Wednesday nights for Thursday morning pickup

Nice Place On Canyon

Very Nice house with two nice decks overlooking the canyon Desks have a lot of comfortable chairs and tables. Stairs to lower large deck might be a bit steep for small children. We had a large group dinner on the lower deck. The decks are a bit hot at noon, very nice morning and evening. Ample parking on the street with one off street. Very nice interior with comfortable furniture and beds. Fold out bed was average. Nice kitchen on main floor with a breakfast nook that looks out over canyon. Bathrooms nice, a little on the small side though functional. Within reasonable (15-20 minutes) walking distance of Trader Joes, Great Maple, and Park Street restaurants, walking through nice neighborhoods.

Wonderful Stay With Amazing Views!

We had a wonderful stay at the beautiful renovated bungalow. It was comfortably appointed and perfect for our family stay. We enjoyed meals on the outside deck listening to birds and overlooking the canyon. Our host was so hospitable and made himself available if ever there was a need. We would definitely recommend this beautiful place to anyone else ready to enjoy some relaxation and vacation time in the San Diego area. 5+ stars!

Beautiful view with Great location

Beautiful view from the spacious back deck. Short walk through a nice neighborhood to food and shops. Host was pleasant and very responsive.

Why they chose this property

I found this home for sale while walking my dog around the block, and instantly fell in love. Not only does it feel like a cozy cabin home, the back patios and decks and large banana, olive trees and cactus give it a prehistoric jungle treehouse vibe. Solar panels power the house completely, and there is so much to explore in and around this house! Oh... and can we talk about how easy it is to walk to Trader Joes, Ralphs, Starbucks and all the quaint local shops, bars and eateries?
