The location is excellent! We were able to walk to dinner and truly enjoyed the convenience. The home had everything we needed. Michael is extremely responsive and great to work with!
This was absolutely perfect. Clean and walking distance to downtown shopping, Fredonia etc.
Equipped with everything we needed. Loved our stay, thank you.
We had a great stay, plenty of parking (for a trailer if need be), car was safe. We had an issue when we first arrived and the host was quick to resolve. Good place to stay a block from downtown shopping and eating. Thank you for being a great host.
The location could not have been more perfect! We booked this home for the convenience of walking the Nacogdoches Wire Swirl. The home was perfect for the 4 of us, which was my sister and 2 daughters. The home was very cute and had everything we needed for our short stay.
The house is super clean, right next to downtown, and well maintained. The owner is available if needed, but also makes it a point to give you your privacy. This will definitely become my go-to rental every time I come back to Nacogdoches.
We came to nacogdoches as I had been here before and it was such a pretty town. We were looking for a place where we could walk to town. This is perfect. Perfect size for us three girls. We will be back.
Very quaint houses on property. Quiet neighborhood, close to Main Street. Owner was extremely accommodating and bent over backwards to resolve Wi-Fi issue affecting the TV. My husband and 2 teen boys wanted to go home, but the owner cleaned another open unit with working Wi-Fi, so my boys could watch March madness. LOL. Thank you!!!

Owner Decided New Roof Was Needed During Stay
We really, really wish we could write a lovely review of our stay here, but we want to be transparent and honest. We actually had family members stay here the weekend before and let us know the photos don't accurately show the outside of the property. The photo shows a quaint cottage within a beautifully landscaped entrance. The reality is that that was taken from the perfect angle and didn't show the lack of upkeep of the roof and exterior.
We woke on our final morning at 7:30 am to see workers peering in the windows of the back patio at us as we walked through to get coffee in our pajamas. The owner decided getting a new roof on our final morning of our stay was more important and came to the door within the hour to ask us to move our (new) car. The workers had pulled up in a truck with a flatbed and parked beside our car, spreading tarps down around the property and began pulling the roof off. Before we could finish getting dressed, roofing materials and nails were flying off the roof to the flatbed parked within 5 feet of our car. There was no possibility of our teen sleeping in as the nail gun began shooting off nails. When it was time to load our car and leave at checkout time, we had to walk through the roofing materials with our bags as the workers continued throwing items to their flatbed.
We received a refund for 18% of our stay.
We found ourselves not able to book at our regular hotel for the last home football game. I jumped on VRBO, and found this house! It was right off the square and was everything we needed for our night stay. It was clear the owner takes pride in providing a nice experience. The master bed is a traditional pillow top mattress. My teens had no issues with twin mattresses. Slept great. This is a larger side of a duplex, so we did hear the couple next door come in on Sat night, but there were no issues related to that.
Everything was great about this property until 6:30 am Sunday morning, the second night of our stay.
Great location, great bedding, helpful check in book with wonderful restaurant & bar suggestions! Very friendly owners but…. I assumed we had the whole place to ourselves all weekend but we did not… there is a separate room of the house that they also rent out that they don’t mention in the listing. The beds of the rooms are only separated by a very thin wall & from 6:30am until noon our second day the young guests in the extra room were VERY inappropriately loud, had kids coming & going & even sounded like they were moving furniture! It was horrible!
The only way I would stay here again is if the other attached room were not rented out…. Sad ending to our weekend
Stayed New Year’s Eve and everything was there! Got to see the light show from the privacy our huge gorgeous deck! The little details and “spare” everything you might forget was there! Love it!
