Beautiful 2 bedroom rustic cottage with a wood stove located in the Shingletown California woods yet just off the main HWY 44. Lassen National Park is about 15 minutes away. The large wooded property borders a creek and has a pond with fish, frogs and turtles.
There are 2 bedrooms, one has a queen 4 post cherry wood bed, the second bedroom has a queen bed and 1 bunk bed.

Full size kitchen equipped with dishware, silverware, cups, pots, pans, blender, toaster, coffee maker, tea pot.
A full size bathroom with a tub & separate walk-in shower.

Please help us keep the cost of cleaning low by keeping the place clean as possible. Do not leave garbage around, please put the trash in a trash bag/can.
We kindly ask that prior to leaving, you clean and put away any dishes or kitchenware used and put any dirty towels near the entry door upon leaving. It helps us get through the cleaning process quicker and allows us to keep the cleaning costs down for you and future guests.

The well water is drinkable and extremely clean without anything added to it, tested every month.

Cozy cabin in the woods with a hottub

We visited for 4 days and stayed a 5th day so we could get another day of skiing in. We were comfortable, the place was heated, warm, cozy and away from everything which is what we wanted. There’s a store in town (Reeds) where you can grab groceries, Redding is a half hour away, Shasta 1.5 hours. Peace, quiet, Serenity, good for the kids to run around. Plenty of firewood for the old school stove. Beds cozy. Office nearby. Hottub wasn’t overchlorinated which was nice. They should make it lighter at night near the hottub but besides that we love Living Springs and the laid back vibe and look forward to coming again. Cabin 3 sleeps a lot more people than you might think too. Good spot to settle in after a day of skiing and read a book on the couch near the fire.
