Cozy Northwoods Cabin

This is our NORTHWOODS CABIN
Location: 10 miles out of Ely
Situated 3.2 miles back on a gravel road. Quiet wooded setting gives you an excellent north woods getaway feeling. Spacious kitchen and family areas. Kitchen is fully equipped. One level living. No steps. Large deck and patio area off kitchen has deck furniture and charcoal grill. Great location for: hiking, biking, paddling, snowmobiling, skiing, snow shoeing, access to White Iron Lake for all activities. For a real north wood's wilderness type setting yet accessible by car, This Is it.
Our pet fee is $20.00 per dog per day. Max 2 dogs.

Ely Get Away

We spent 4 nights and loved the location and entire experience. The cabin is just down the road from Wintergreen dog mushing and near White Iron Lake. There are beautiful trails to explore near the cabin and it's a short drive into downtown Ely. We enjoyed the thoughtful set up of the cabin and appreciated everything on one level. It was very clean and the hosts were very accommodating .We had a lovely stay.

Winter wonderland

We enjoyed our short stay at the Cozy Northwoods Cabin. The house perfect for our weekend getaway to Ely. House was just as described. The owner was nearby but we still felt like we had a private getaway. There were 5 deer out the backyard in the morning. Very peaceful.

Comfy Cabin, Great Hosts

We had a great stay! Cabin was comfortable and as advertised. Well stocked with everything you could need. Temps were -20 and we had no issues with staying warm inside. The cabin is in a rural area away from town which is exactly what we were looking for. Although rural, the cabin is not isolated and there is another home (host's?) about 100yards away from it. Not a knock on the location at all, but if your looking to be alone in the woods away from everything this might not be the spot for you. wisolated.iThereanother

What more can you want than a consistent experience? This time was a working vacation. Needed internet to handle multiple programs and reliable connection. The location delivered just that. Just like last time, very clean and welcoming with everything you could need.

We enjoyed the stay. It’s a quiet well maintained hideaway that we’ll return to next time we’re in Ely. The milky way in the night sky right outside the backdoor & a friendly doe greeting us in the mornings made for a very pleasant stay.

Exactly what we needed

The place is in great location to get to Ely and several hiking trails. Calm and peaceful bit of property with all the amenities of home. We came here after a 3 day/2 night excursion on the Boundary waters and when we come back, I hope this location is available

Was perfect for us to day trip into various locations of the Boundary Waters and Ely (20 min drive). Was quiet at night - heard wolves one night and a loon a different night. Handy to have a washer and dryer.

2024 family fishing trip

Very nice, clean cabin with easy access and plenty of room for a trailer if needed. No traffic, yet centrally located between all the lakes. I'd definitely stay here again!

Comfortable stay in the Minnesota Northwoods

Very clean, comfortable cabin located amongst the Minnesota Northwood Forest. Easy access to Ely in a very quiet location. Gary, the owner, is very easy to communicate with and everything was as advertised. If in the area in the future, would definitely stay here again.
